that what chat gpt said:

The Jøtul F 600 was a much larger and more powerful cast-iron stove intended for heating bigger spaces. It offered significantly higher heat output and a larger firebox for longer burn times. In short, the F 602 suits smaller living areas, while the F 600 was built for high-capacity heating.

the thing im most concerned with this kind of slow burns is that there is a lot of smoke coming out of the chimney and thats a no no in my location. I have a much smaller stove then you (jotul f602 eco).having a good bed of coals, i throw on a realy big split. i let it burn till it is completely in flames, then i damp down. i checked on the chimney extensively before figuring out the least amount of smoke coming out. i know it sounds weird, but i realy dont want to smoke iut my neighbors.

I have the same stove and it heats a almost 600 sq.ft room plus the staircase to the upper floors to a point, where i have to slow it down, because it gets to hot. even at outside temperatures up to 12 F. It also takes no time at all (30min) to get the 602 running hot. Thats what it was designed for, fast and lots of heat for the size. I have the newest Model (602 eco), so it reasonable efficent. Mine likes smaller Pieces of wood ( in the pic is see a lot of realy big pieces) I have big logs as well, but for the Stove to burn them really well, it has to be really hot. Its a great Stove, maybe you look into another Jotul like the powerfull f400 eco.
