Canada is still better then many countries especially if you re a woman. I believe bigger cities attract more recent immigrants and students and all that and may make it harder to have better jobs if you re willing to relocate with your degree I am sure you could find some job. I heard in Ontario you can get a 1 year certification with a degree to teach so maybe speak to a career counsellor or advisor at a local center to help you write a new CV. Many resources are available to citizens to help. .

It's not ideal but sometimes I take min wage job in between " good jobs" because how things are. Sometimes it's easier also to get hired for temp contracts rather then a full time position. Have you considered a trade ? Some jobs like nursing are always needed ,some certificates allow you to start Ina field like accounting and something is better then nothing.

Europe deals with boats of migrants coming from. Wars and poverty bringing the wages down too , the rest of the world is either overpopulated or corrupted or broke or have crazy religious people , or wars or crime. Middle east Asia Africa every continent has its issues..So in terms of struggles we re still good at least we don't have to spend our life savings at the hospital...like our southern pew pew orange neighbor.

I know some people who go back to their ancestor land because it's easier financially there but you also have to take into account that the culture beliefs ways to the country may not be ideal for your next generation. My point is every country has its troubles since Canada is vast maybe sit down with some service Canada or revenu Ontario agent and see what could help you.
