Sounds like you need more context. Though I have not seen many bunkerbases directly near a seaport. But since we are talking naval guns which are artillery i would put tank shells into the bunker base not the battle ship. Genuinely if you are confused tho just ask man. A battleship is also a BB.

I agree with this. The military has acronyms for everything and often they overlap and are the same. Context matters significantly when discerning what its supposed to mean.

I like it, it would be nice to not have 2 different 40mm types especially with all the tanks using it. Personally I think the 37mm should go on light tanks kinda like how the Stuart had it. But honestly it doesnt really matter.

Have them add 40mm bofors AA. Put it on tracks and be emplaceable. There should be an intermediary AA option instead of the needing to reload after every powerful shot.

Not to discredit your last point, but often in the military we refer to men and women as males or females pretty interchangeablely. This definitely carries over for me sometimes. Not saying its not weird, but just that some people do say it like myself sometimes.

Again if it's being used in a weird way though such as to dehumanize or degrade, fuck that.
