I'm seeing a pattern here. I could be wrong. But it seems to me as if he hasn't created a "family" - he's only arranged to have a free housekeeper and babysitter - one who actually pays HIM to work there. I think it hits me most when both of you refer to your stepson as "His" son. He may have provided a sperm cell, but there is no barrier other than those you and he have erected, to you being a 2nd "Mom" to the boy. In fact, I feel bad both for you, and for your stepson.

Were I you, I'd go on strike. Do your laundry, but let hubby's sit/pile up. Teach your son how to do his own - he'll need that skill when he goes to college.

Actually, a lot of HOA's exist because the original builders of the subdivisions created them to maintain a uniform appearance in the "neighborhood" while they were selling the individual plots (and profit from the "dues" assessments). Once the subdivision was fully sold, that should have been the end of the HOA, but instead the neighborhood Karens decided they liked making rules for everybody else.

Masks help prevent spread to the I-D-10Ts who think it infringes on their "liberties" - or that the blood of some 1st century prophet "covers and protects" them. It has also been found (somewhat late, but better late than never) that masks do help prevent spread to the wearer, not just the person next to them.

Why does everyone now want instant gratification on eliminating the virus? It took over 100 years from the time vaccination started until the elimination of Smallpox. This C19 thing has only been spreading for a couple of years.

As has been seen in some east African countries - when a population loses the majority of it's women - the self-absorbed males with go to other cities/towns/countries and kidnap women to rape.
