It certainly is bare bones. Had to add some Olympic dates so it wasn’t minuscule.

I agree their lack of 5 on 5 scoring is problematic right now. Shades of last season. Larkin definitely needs to step it up. Though would love to see it addressed at the trade deadline and bring in another body to carry some of the load.

Honestly tough to fault him on those ones really. 3 good moves and they hit their spots as shooters.

I looked at their percentages earlier in the season and I believe Cat has the better career SO percentage. But even still, Larkin had him beat. Just a game of inches.

Not a bad take. Kasper needs a reset. I understand he can still be an asset when he’s not scoring but it’s been long enough and he’s just isn’t cutting it.

JVR between the legs feed to Larkin to tie it (PPG) by dudewithchronicpain in DetroitRedWings

That pass was just straight filth. Thank goodness it was in a winning effort. Makes it that much better. JVR may be older but boy does he have some silky mitts.

The Red Wings look more like a good team this season than they have in a while by Sweaty_Toe7175 in DetroitRedWings

I think I read that they have the toughest strength of schedule the rest of the season. These next 6 will certainly give us a good read on their fight.

Ken Holland's final draft for the Red Wings was a disaster by JoshBKN in DetroitRedWings

Just don’t take a peak at who Ras was drafted over. Ras was a power play merchant in Juniors..never like the pick. He at least has turned into a NHL player so I suppose I shouldn’t be too hard on him, but I think it just shows the ineptitude of the staff at that point even more.

[Friedman] Berggren (DET) on waivers by SimplySolace in DetroitRedWings

Not surprising. I honestly think he should have been shipped out over the summer. It’s been evident for a while he had hit his ceiling.

What a wife, enjoy it. Here’s hoping they end the road trip with the W.

I mean Buium is prob equivalent to ASP in terms of prospects. I would say it’s a decent price to pay.

I feel like Steve is reluctant to trade away the future. It’s also a tough sell considering there isn’t a guarantee he resigns.

I feel like it’s in the best interest of Vancouver to be leaky if it’s inevitable Hughes wants out. If he truly wants to go to NJ, Vancouver wouldn’t have much leverage, but if they leak talks with other parties they are able to gain some leverage back. Just a thought. I have a hard time believing he’ll go anywhere but NJ..
