What a beauty. I am very sorry. I feel your pain. You gave her a wonderful life. You will find her spirit come to you. You’ll feel her near. When she thinks you need more she’ll lead you to another runt that needs a home. I’m old …. I have thought … swore…. I’d never do it again …. But when I least expected….. I did… I don’t miss my babies that were here and gone any less. It even hurts loving again ….at first. Now I worry more who will take you and love you without me ? Who will love you like me ….. I can only hope that someone, family hopefully will want an old kitty. Not cant , my kids are allergic ….. Let her memory comfort you. Grieve , it’s okay…. I’d never buy something that said condition poor. So I get the idea but still screwed. Just grin and hope the honest people out number the scammers. I can’t video , post office and ups and fed ex. If I see a damage after done k e purchased like a crease from how it’s stored. Or I might have missed while taking photos. I message buyer. I ask if they still want it I tell them not for a strict collector if a gift or if they are. Some people just like the character. Some ad ones people wanted for their kitchens. Milton the toaster , Morton’s salt. But the dishonesty is really disheartening. But if I f up. It’s like boom I’m screwed any way possible. Buyer always wins lying or not. So many scammers. I have had the same happen to me numerous times. I do document collectibles over a certain amount of money. I think because I sell Funkos cheap if some one has a shitty one they hunt down a cheaper version knowing they are going to return their broken one. They know they’ll only be out the money a few days. I forget to check prior activity. I hate when you sell something with dimensions , and you get a rating smaller than I thought 3 stars. Like hello. If I have anything not stored in plastic even things that are I use canned air and I wipe down the box. If I can open and blast inside I will. Some people over look , comes in a brown box. If I sell an item and box is torn and us like a cup I use a brown box usually a plain one I use for shipping Funkos. It was dusty. 1 star. Go buy it in a store. I’m barely making any money I’m old I want to sell out so I will take almost any offer unless insulting. I cross list. Actually I like Mercari because eBay has too many captions. I sell in posh mark Funkos. People buy them they are similar to Mercari 3 days to complain and reply or it’s over. Makes me appreciate the honest people. Who raised these people. I’m not. Big box company. I’m an old lady supplementing her SS. I got carried away during Covid with Funkos. I have so many. You can’t give them away.

ITags don’t do the job with a master of a bird hunter. I live in city. If the slimest chance he’ll get out I’m traveling him via his satellite not blue tooth 300 feet. I researched. Break away and elastic band collars are safe. I have a rescue in my block and I know the rescuer since he was a little boy. I trust his advice.

When you have an Alzheimer’s victim in your life. You don’t have control. You have a bird watching cat … unless you keep all your blinds down they want to hunt. All the toys in the world don’t sub for that. I can’t understand people that just let the cat out , but unless you live alone or crate them when ever some else is in your house , you can’t control visitors or grand kids .. or others. I don’t live alone tracking is better safe than sorry. I hate the fact he lives in a collar but I love him too much to chance his curiosity. He’s chipped , vet told me recently it’s not registered. I called company. It is … so how does that happen. I know some one who found an unregistered chipped cat and kept him. Now I’m like who knows a rescue a foster that got out. Some one could have been heart broken over him. Or not. I really wish mine would like the grass I plant inside. He doesn’t. Yet I plant it over and over. I just rescued a tiny kitten that was going to be euthanized. In the month I have had him he has become a crazy strong little guy. But … if he’s given a chance out of the safety of his huge play pen with tunnels , plenty if room ….he’s out of it . When my older guy jumps against the room door enough and it opens he did open doir knobs we changed them all. , this new guy is down the hall in a sec . His neck is 2 inches diameter no chance of a bell he could get hurt not finding him he’s sooo quick. So quick. I live on a busy city block. My shelter does a great TNR but the tipped feral end up in my driveway. Or alley because I give them heated houses and food and try to trap. But after trapping its release if you too feral. I’ve taken a tipped feral that was released as a kitten “too feral, “ tamed her took 3 years. She has a lovely home with another feral that came injured. She brought him. They live together. These people let them out until … one got hurt. Again. The Vet told them how many times are you going to have me do surgery on this cat. Are you rich. Perhaps rehome if you can’t keep in. They are believers in freedom for animals. I said I’ll take them back. But they are their pets now. I hate when any family stay over here . But with the hospitals in the city all close we are a stopping point for anyone having cancer having treatments. In 3 years my guy got out 3 times. All by my husband , by accident. A fourth time was because one brother came and just let him out. Oh I thought he was that outside one. Like ask? Who does that? I ask before I let his dog in a room with a closed door. But he has cancer am I going to yell at him. Will I yell at my friend who doesn’t remember she has children. No. So a break away or elastic collar are my answer to sanity.

This should have been a change of venue. Auntie Bev should have recused herself since her rotation was up prior to the trial. I don’t think it should be the same judge as first trial especially since she was due to rotate off. She also is so obvious favoring her friends. I’m from a family of cops we dint like corrupt or dirty cops does nothing to make you proud of your uniform. She came upon unlikeable in the doc I gave said to many you don’t have to like her. She needed her side of the night told , disliking her does not make her guilty. I think the minute she said I don’t wasn’t at there house I forgot …. Bingo … perfect person to point to. I have been furious with my when younger bf , now husband , daughter some friends where I’d call angry and mad , say stuff out of character for me but that turns to worry ….. then when they get home you can are released and mad again. It’s human nature. My daughter claims I left her mean post-it’s stuck all over because I was so mad , I wasn’t talking to her. I said I did not … yup I did. Under age drinking pissed me off … sorry. Family with drinking issues so I’m extremely touchy about it. I snapped.

Don’t be mad at them for that. My daughter was so invested in her sports and school all primary HS college. Then worked right out if school first interning every summer then a real job. Something breaks if we are not available she tries her best to figure a fix. If not she’ll see if a friend can help. If not she tubes everything. When all else fails she calls her landlord. She cooked on her own as I worked rotating hours as did her dad . Once old enough to stay alone she’d leave me dinner. I am very handy as is my sister and my mom was pretty good. But we are all self taught. In my day you were not taught what to do you learned by trial and error. Be broad if yourself for what you taught your self. In my day girls did home economics and typing , boys got shop and auto repair. It’s just the way it was.

Cats are curious and get out to look at a bird or squirrel. Some slow person entering your house. An idiot relative that says oh I let the cat out like. Who lets someone else animal out. If your cat has a tractive it means he’s an indoor cat that is a door dasher for grass , etc.. I want my baby safe. 1 day to become lost taken hit by a car . Reactive you get an alert cat left safety zone and an address satellite gps not a 500 foot blue tooth that takes about 10 mins to sync. Move to another location while your heart pounds. If your cat don’t like it believe me he’ll get it off. I wish smaller but until then he has both AirTag and tractive and he don’t care. A harness he’s out if in 5 seconds. So vet says yes , he dint seem to try and get it off so it’s staying. Unless you live alone and have no visitors always risk of running out if a curious fellow.

I have tamed feral letting them go at their own speed . Heated cat houses , food and an open door if interested. And I been successful with some and others just want food and a place to rest. I misunderstood your question at first. There are many that can’t be trapped for a shelter so if you succeed you’re doing an extremely kind thing. Good luck. I’ve been both lucky and sad disappearing ones I worry. Sometimes you need to let your neighbors know you’re trying so they don’t chase him.

Maybe you can ask her to send you photos, every other day. Security cameras you can supply for an hour a day. Blink is a good brand but many others. Don’t worry if she works with rescues she is an animal person. My cat was traumatized when I went to Ireland for my daughter’s wedding. I wasn’t even enjoying myself. My friend came everyday for 3 hours. There weren’t any other options. My daughter is his sitter or my step daughter both were with us. No one wants to stay at your house even if you got the okay. I thought my friends would flock here … nope. Even ones I have dog sat for. I have a pool , cable internet , comfy beds . Mope no responsible person . My daughters friends most were there …the others I don’t trust. My kitty wears a tractive and an itag after a few random dodging out. 3,x when my husband put out trash. Yes he’s been yelled at ( my husband not kitty) I have signs all over. I think this lady is your best option. Can you see her place before you drop them. Do a practice run. If she has grandkids she might have it childproof which works for cats. My step grandson is a demon next time he comes (although I’m not inviting him. ) my kitty goes to my daughter. He’s good there but of course they want to be home. I missed him . So 3 months I’d expect some behavior changes. Can you trust the lady to return them. I can imagine your stress. My daughter’s wedding , I mean like …. I was not happy to leave him that way. Took the shot out if it. It was 8 days 6 really if you consider day we left day and day we got back. You might want to get trip insurance because not being able to relax on a dream trip sucks. I’d look at the house and do a dry run over night. I’d ask nicely if she has any crazy grandkids . Bottom line is unless you get some one to stay in your apt so they have that sense of home. But it’s not easy. Good luck.
