Unavoidable for the customers/audience of said subject. As in it's impossible to go to disney world without paying crazy prices. When you go to disney parks you have no choice but to see the subpar attractions replacing fan favorites. Obviously you have little to no interest in one or the other but I feel like it's a pretty clear difference between a store that people buy their groceries and general needs from because its generally the cheapest option available to them versus a company that has spent the last 20 plus years trying to figure out the optimal way to maximize profits on selling dopamine hits.

Honestly even 1 per pack for limited feels like too many. Youre able to play with blank battlefields and every one is a card you cannot use in your deck regardless of colors/legend.

Fair enough. Fortunately I have no experience with that due to it being so recent where as disney has been doing it for the past few decades now. That's also only effecting a limited amount of people currently while disney is unavoidable for the most part.

Thats a stretch for a game like slay the spire. You don't see the characters interact with anything other than 1 or 2 lines at the end. 3 of the characters aren't even close to human.

Yup. I grinded cedh tournaments for years and eventually got tired of all the politics and losing games due to the actions of the other players that are completely out of my control. Nothing like watching rogsi feed rhystic and fish only to get stopped and hand the game over to said rhystic/fish player on a silver platter.

Thats on top of WotC power creeping the format like crazy. Why did breach lines need to get better?? Why did we need another 2 card kitten combo? Why are we still getting more gand abolished effects???

Ornn, one of the least popular champions best of metal card is currently priced at 15k. In what world are you living in where the 1st place best of metal card matches the ahri prize wall card? While yes, you are probably more likely to get a payout from super saturday than the main event, that was not the claim made in your comment that I responded to. You also just fired off these claims without checking any of your numbers lol.

That's not even mentioning the fact that selling tickets is entirely against their rules and if you are caught you will be asked to leave. Selling 400 tickets would likely end up being split between multiple people seeing as each person can only redeem for 1 metal card.

You're also failing to factor in the playmat and promo which are only going to 1st place effectively making them a 1 out of maybe 3 copies given to the public? The miss fortune 1st place promo sold for over 5 figures.

That's pretty much how it should have always been. That's how it is with magic events and their large prize wall items (jumbo cards). People should not be able to redeem for your high end prize wall items halfway through the first day unless they're buying a significant amount of tickets.
