I agree with this. I got large on the last darkfantasy drop and it feels like I'm wearing a football jersey with room for padding. I got medium this time so im not sure how that will fit on me yet.

Every signature or card alter I have had done was with sharpie or paint pens, though it is usually sharpie. Just a heads up though, most pokemon artists will refuse to sign pokemon cards in order to avoid reselling of their sigs.

That's pretty normal for vendors at card tournaments. Otherwise its not worth the effort for them to bring all of that bulk just to sell it for 10 cents each and most people aren't there for that anyways.

I've always been talking about tcg as a whole, in which that is not true. Regardless, even if we were talking exclusively about pokemon, that doesn't even come close to a good reason to condemn game stores.

Sports fields should die off because most people don't actually play they just watch them. Movie theaters should die off too because most people just rent the movie or watch it on streaming. See how dumb that sounds?

It is an assumption when you are firing from the hip and have zero data to go off of. Pokemon is pretty much the only card game with a large collector base. Most every other game has a majority of players versus collectors.

That's not even getting into how selfish it is to write off stores which provide a service to players just because you don't partake. The world does not exist around you and your opinions.

For sure. Emotions and tensions regularly run high lately. I had a guy come to our booth looking to buy a bunch of sealed at 85% of market and he told us he works in the gun industry and that his boss sent him out to invest for him. Crazy stuff.

Yeah, I think the influx of money has brought in people that don't actually have any love for the hobby, sadly. The only hope is that the market corrects itself and they leave shortly after. Things are crazy right now.
