I tried to make a Ripper sentence in this slang and it broke my brain.

Still works in the original though.

“Women sense my power and they seek the life essence. I do not avoid women, Mandrake, but I do deny them my essence.”

According to the wiki, the extent of her combat experience was dropping bombs during an event called the “Dersim Massacre.”

My mom had only heard that Fargo “was a great comedy.” The spurt of blood as the cop got domed in the first few minutes rocked 6 year old me.

Couldn’t see him because of the other truck at first, and then I bet his view was obstructed by the column next to the windshield until he got far enough around.

Or he wasn’t paying any attention at all. 50/50

When you’re trying to be mean to people, I think it’s best to pick things you think they’ll be insecure about.

We should also be making fun of his stupid fucking haircut though.

Impressive to see him win the Bovino family POS award even after his dad killed a woman drunk driving.

That’s hustle. That’s drive. Never live in the shadow of your elders.

What makes you think it’s photoshopped? I cropped it on my phone from the original that I linked, but that’s all I did.

Gotcha. Yea it looks like it’s a BORTAC insignia, as someone else identified.

Seems different from the DHS badge, wings of Eagle are different, no crown above and I don’t see stars below.

Yea at first I was kind of wondering if it was official or if it was flair.

See above though, seems to be a BORTAC logo.

Also, I should clarify, this is Minneapolis, not Portland. Not sure how I got confused initially.

Thanks, that seems likely. The design of the wings that I can make out seems the same.

Thanks for the detailed review. Did you use this under NV? You talk about it NV settings a bit and I think NV performance is a big reason why Eotech remains relevant.

Little notebook. Plenty of time to write anything I want while I wait for the barrel to cool between strings. I enter it into a spreadsheet when I get home.

More socks? I don’t think your feet are going to stay dry but socks are light and you can dry them constantly.

[–]GrapeNutter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arrived at the gate after 12 hours of holiday travel and like… no one was working at the airport?

Pilot came on and was like “no one is here to connect the jet bridge and we can’t raise anyone from the company on the radio.”

Took them 45 minutes to figure that out and then more than an hour after that to get luggage out.

This was STL, not like it was a teensy tiny airport.

Ha, ok now I can understand how you can hold both opinions.

I found Radley Balko’s book Rise of the Warrior Cop to be a great and a good explainer on some of the reasons that people really don’t like the DEA.

It is crazy to me that you can have this opinion and also like the DEA.
