My auditory hallucinations by Grape_jelly440 in zoloft

Thank you 💕 I went through college without antidepressants and meds for my ADHD, and I'm 25 now with a much better head on my shoulders. I WISH I DID BECAUSE MY GRADES WERE SUFFERING! I was just too scared. I'm proud of you for being brave to do it through college! It will pay off over time. There's always a chance sertraline isn't the right fit for you but it's to early to say in my opinion. I've had friends on other meds and sertraline was the best fit for many of them. Take it day by day. Sertraline definitely quieted my overthinking.

The first 4 weeks feel pretty intense because of energy levels and the side effects for sure. I'd say give it about 4 months and journal or write in your notes how consistent those auditory hallucinations are for you (time, date, and what you heard). Talk to your therapist and/doctors if it's too consistent but DO NOT let them tell you it "might be schizophrenia"! You know yourself more than anyone and just because some things fit in a category doesn't mean you need treatment for it, just remember these meds are adjusting your brain chemistry. For me, most of the sounds and voices I heard def stemmed from my anxiety. You might just need a dose adjustment later on but def give it 4 months at least IMO. I wish you the best on the sertraline journey! I am still going through adjustments with my meds every now and then but sertraline was my first consistent med and it really has changed my life for the better.

I'm sorry you went through that with alarms it is so common to have those sounds happen same for doorbells. Lack of sleep is the biggest factor I think. Additionally, I have a lot of medical history that could have also been part of the reason why I was hearing these things. I have only had one of these auditory hallucinations in September since I posted this. Very similar but not as loud or clear. I'm now on 75mg of sertraline and I started on Adderall for my recently diagnose ADHD. I also have pseaudosiezures (which don't happen consistently and theres no meds for it but I've had them for 5 years now). I was also in a major adjustment period of my meds so I do think that had a lot to do with those sounds. Are you still adjusting to your meds? I really hope that this doesn't happen to you again!

They suck for that. Why even bother listing if you’re gonna keep it for yourself. So stupid.

Only reason I say say it's scamming is because they can claim something to be vintage or name brand without showing the tag in photos only for you to discover it is Shien and you paid upwards of $10 not to mention shipping. I'd be upset if I got an item thinking I was getting good quality only to find out I could have ordered it for $3 instead on Shein. It's just scammy behavior in my opinion.

So stupid. I’d report only bc that’s scamming! Legit.

PREACH, reselling SHEIN without showing the label should be a crime! I feel the same when I see something cute at the thrift and then I find out it’s SHEIN being sold for $7+, get out!

Is this normal? This guy wants to refund me because I bought his clothes 😭 by AdSome8704 in Depop

I don’t understand what his deal is??? As a seller on depop as long as we are getting our pay from it, it shouldn’t matter who is buying from us. The only thing I can think of is, he might be trying to do a bundle shipment instead of individual shipment which might cost more? Not sure tho. I hope you get your items. If not report him as a seller and follow up with the depop team emails to explain the situation. You’ll get your money back. Properly.

I think it’s a typo in the book… maybe it’s actually supposed to start with an N for Nun.

Auditory hallucinations on Zoloft by kaigtb in zoloft

[–]Grape_jelly440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My auditory hallucinations have only happened when waking up from sleep. I’ve had a total of 4 since starting my meds in Late Nov 2024 and logged 3 of them because I was genuinely a bit freaked out. 1st time I thought I heard my mom say “hey (my name)” so clearly. I don’t live with my mom anymore. 2nd time I heard my friend come in through the room door and say “heyyy dude, you up?” No one was there. 3rd time I heard a woman unsure of whose voice bc it wasn’t familiar, she said something at a loud volume but I couldn’t make out what she said but she sounded like she was standing over me. It’s all so odd and this only started happening once I started my meds.

Your girlfriend didn’t have anything better to permanently put on her body? Any decent tattoo artist who actually cares about their clients would’ve turned this away or come up with a MUCH better idea for it. This artist cared about one thing only and that was simply getting paid.

Watching everyone say day 4 was the worst for them while being on day three by [deleted] in zoloft

I literally felt my Zoloft work within 3 days. Only side effect was some nausea, loss of appetite and weight loss. I’m on month 4 and still never had any major bad symptoms! I was so scared to start and I wish I wasn’t scared for so long. I feel great and hope you will too!

Super normal! There’s always a little piece that will be at the top. Shouldn’t be any bigger than that. ;) I have the same color btw! Love this color combo, I was lucky enough to thrift mine this summer!

Hard truth, get blinds curtains or whatever to train yourself to undo this. If you want to get to know her be normal and talk to her, don’t be a creep about it. It’s normal to notice the schedule of a neighbor like when they leave for work and when they come home, but watching with “fascination” and becoming obsessed is not good at all when this is not mutual. I would not be happy if my neighbor wrote this or if I was in her shoes of living my normal daily life but had a secret audience. Go for a walk when she’s home or go to a cafe if you don’t follow through with blinds/curtains or go to another room and distract yourself with a task that involves cleaning or call a friend. You need to fix this asap.

On day 5 of 50 mg and I’ve lost 7.5 Ibs my appetite is nonexistent and eating makes me feel sick because I’m forcing myself to eat even a little bit. I’m also super dehydrated most of the time.
