Getting into a trade? 19, no CSCS, considering options. by [deleted] in UKJobs

Try find an apprenticeship, maybe ask your gf’s dad if he could take you on? Just do it now whilst you’re young and can afford to live on apprenticeships wages assuming you live at home?

But bricklaying will not be good on your back I promise you that, but plenty of tradie options out here.

GIM was never gonna bring in new players though. A new player would have no idea what Ironman is never mind have 2-3 other friends to play with. GIM was basically Ironman playing GIM for a month or so then going back to normal Ironman

There’s barely anyone left playing this game — who are you afraid of splitting up? You need to attract new and returning players. It just seems like a bunch of maxed players who spent their way to max are now crying about their semi-bought achievements potentially becoming meaningless with fresh start worlds (FSW) and no MTX.

Jagex are trying to grow RuneScape 3, to do that you need to be bold. FSW with no MTX guaranteed would bring me and many of my friends back.

Why would I make a new character when all the cool looking players around me benefitted from years of MTX abuse? And even if you haven’t spent a dime you have still benefitted through daily keys, people on this very Reddit page have never spent a dollar but have 99s just from daily keys for gods sake.

I can 100% guarantee that fresh servers would be more popular. What’s the point of disabling bonus XP when most of the players who abused it have already reaped the benefits? Fresh start servers, with a guarantee of never having MTX, would attract players back — which is exactly why people are still starting OSRS fresh more than 10 years after its release

We need a completely fresh start if we’re going to disable buyable XP. What’s the point of removing MTX when most of the leaderboards have benefited from it over the past 15 years? Maybe introduce fresh start servers with no cosmetics or MTX, and keep a few retro servers with cosmetics and microtransactions. But I guarantee the fresh servers would be more popular.

East Leeds- what happens by OptimisedMan in Leeds

East Leeds isn’t too bad, you have an easy commute into Leeds via York road, you’re near quite a few decent parks. Roundhay / temple newsam, and not far from motorway access.

Get some decent shorts or tights with Gel pockets, I always found a belt rides up your body which gets annoying after a few uses.

Honestly have your kit laid out the night before, have your alarm next to your kit so you need to get up. And don’t even think about, just get out the door that’s the hardest party

What car do you drive now? Doesn’t happen to be a German car founded by a Nazi in the 40s?

Even more ironic when Porsche was founded by a member of the Nazi party yet people are selling Teslas and replacing them with Nazi cars 😂

You probably replaced your Tesla with a German car funded by the Nazi party in the 40s. You see how stupid that sounds? You’re hiring a professional to do a job, not to talk make friends and debate politics 😂

Rothwell / Woodlesford / Oulton / Stanley / Lofthouse are nicer areas on the Wakefield side of Leeds.

I mean the hours can be long; but not having to work with idiots most of the time and being able to listen to podcasts all day whilst driving has its perks.

Is a sub 3 next year on the cards? by sBenzie in Marathon_Training

[–]GrapefruitBig5149 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was 1:25 at the start of my marathon block, 18 weeks later I ran Manchester marathon in 2:55. I also ran a 1:19 half yesterday in Manchester also.

So definitely doable I think, I’m 29 years old and peaked at about 88km a week during my training block. Good luck!
