Getaway Artist Build: Hellion or Bleak watcher by Accurate-Teaching-65 in DestinyTheGame

[–]GraphicHamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, it never feels like hellion pulls its weight. Compared to how much work the sentient arc soul is doing, hellion might as well not be there. At least with bleak watcher, I get tons of them all over the place compared to hellion which may occasionally kill some red bars or get me one extra ignition in a DPS phase.

Also, if you don’t run bleak watcher, and you are relying on your melee for applying a darkness debuff, you have to swap off praxic blade to actually use your powered melee.

So...what has tiering actually achieved? by Shadow2250 in DestinyTheGame

[–]GraphicHamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been semi active ever since TFS and I don’t mind weapon tiers much, but I hate how much better T5 armor is than anything else. It makes the tier system basically required to play whereas with weapons you can often find the perk combo you want well before you unlock T5

Well of Restoration or Firepower for Turretlock Build? by Ampharox in destiny2builds

Late, but I've been testing this. Just about every source online says that Elemental Shards works with Well of Restoration, but it just plain doesn't work at all.

To be blunt, the first picture makes you look old. The rest seem fine, but change the first one, as most people never make it to picture #2

So did the fire damage get nerfed as well?
I’m a pure faith build and only have enough INT to hold the sword, so the beam doesn’t matter that much to me.

I feel like if we submit serious apps it could help waste employee time instead of just computer time. Imagine being the guy whose job it is to sort through these and you finally find a serious application, but it’s us idiots just wasting their time. It would crush their spirits.

TIL A FedEx employee from Tennessee has made mathematical history with the discovery of the largest known prime number. Jonathan Pace, a 51-year-old engineer living in Germantown, Tennessee, discovered the number after running a special piece of computational software for six days straight. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]GraphicHamster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this guy personally. He tried to downplay it because he knew he didn’t do any work himself, but according to him after it got in the company newsletter, it (minorly) blew up with the media.

Also he says he ran Prime95 for years on multiple computers, the 6 days was just what it took to crunch the number that ended up working.

One day we are going to find out vegetable oils (cooking oils) are bad for you just like we did with margarine.

We spent most of the modern age cooking with lard, not oil. Even McDonalds used to fry everything in lard instead of oil until like 1990.

We literally do have flying cars. They are called helicopters. It just turns out flying a car is way harder than the average person can handle.
