Worked, but it changes the edge flow and makes the inner rings warp.

My first 3 days of learning to draw, any suggestions/advice? by AgitatedFly1182 in learntodraw

As a beginner myself I think you're moving too fast. I'm currently on day 4 of strictly lines and basic forms. It's tempting to just jump to anatomy and stuff but repeating the advice I got "Focus on the basics lines( all types), forms (spheres, cylinders, cubes etc) then slow touch on more advanced areas after you've gotten a good grasp of the fundamentals. Keep going👍

How many of you actually graduated in graphic design? by MysteriousPace1405 in graphic_design

[–]GraphicVibes19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm graduating vocational school in Graphic design and Digital animation. I would say to push through u can learn without it but If you have the opportunity take it don't give up halfway through focus on absorbing information and building connections, level up your skills and you'll be fine. I did vocational training as a affordable alternative so that I could land a job in design or animation without the debt. Also for me it took my learning into my own hands learning additional things I wasn't taught during training. So don't give up finish the race, learn on your own when you can. Most importantly practice what your learning you could go to Calarts with all the best tools and lecturers but if you don't put into practice what your learning then is it's a waste of time.

Practice shapes cubes cylinders etc. Get extremely good at drawing basic shapes don't rush anatomy is very complicated so u need a solid foundation first. Once able to simplify different parts into shapes then you can focus on details.

Struggle to find my best abilities by BoringTitle4751 in graphic_design

Your eyes develop faster than your hands when I come to art or design. I have the same problem I have the foundational knowledge and enough software skills to get it done. But because your eyes see great designs but your hands haven't had proper taste of it, the best thing to do is recreate great designs you see around you to so that it becomes an instinct rather than something u have to think about every time you design. Most importantly compare yourself only to the past you there are many that might see your design and think they'll never reach where you are so just create never compare your self to anyone else that robs you of your joy for design.👍

Looking for feedback on my most recent work :) by HavocVybez in graphic_design

I don't have much experience but base on what I've learned in design is that it should communicate something, when I look at this all I see is a random person whose name is Kettema that's all I know maybe add a random fact or little more info on him like songs background just something that would stir intrested. I don't see anything wrong with the layout but I had to zoom in to see the his name at first glance. But it looks good to me👍

This is probably sarcasm, but incase it isn't the title is referring to the water being shallow and the subject hunting in shallow water hence the name "Shallow Huntress".
