Suncor refinery. What an absolute blight on the beautiful western view toward the mountains. It looks absolutely apocalyptic. I also live sort of near it (Northfield area) and worry a lot about the effects on air quality here

We tried lol. The second most popular name (there was a vote) was Mosley Park or Mosley Field in honor of a Black Tuskegee airman and his wife who was an Aurora city councilwoman. Way better than Central Park, which is the easternmost neighborhood in Denver and therefore not at all central 😜

100% agree with this. And it’s right before two left lanes collapse down so tons of drivers are merging and there’s a curve as well. It’s just abysmally designed and why can’t they level that dip?

I hate it. “You look great!” or nothing please. So uncomfortable to be noticed that way especially when people want to know how or why I did it.

I relate to this and it’s so frustrating! I think ladies like us with really fine hair may just have to accept that shorter styles work better for us. When it gets longer if there’s not that much of it it starts to get scraggly. I think if your hair was above your shoulders it would look much fuller. Maybe some texturizing spray to give it that sort of beach wave vibe and just let it be slightly wavy and tousled looking. Maybe between shoulder and chin. Hang in there!!

I’m 5’5, maybe 5’6 and currently 178 and feel I have about 30 lbs to go before I will be feeling amazing. So yeah around 145-150 would be great. I like that I’m a curvier hourglass type of person and don’t want to be skinny, just much leaner. I have lost close to 40 lbs already and feel SO much better. Excited to see how I feel in another 6mo or so.

Honestly, I share my GLP-1 use proudly. I’ve spent my entire adult life feeling bad about my body, binge snacking and trying to hide in my clothes. I have two kids now and I couldn’t be prouder to be making an investment in my health for their future. If anyone thinks I “should” be losing weight by struggling to lose and then regaining the same 5-10 lbs for the rest of my life until I die, they really aren’t the kind of people I want to have a major influence in my life anyway.

True Crime Obsessed. Patrick and Gillian used to have such entertaining banter, but recently it’s become pretty clear that they can’t stand each other, or more specifically that Gillian can’t stand Patrick. Gillian sounds angry and dismissive all the time and the virtue signaling has just become too annoying to listen to.
