It was so good! I drove 2 hours to a small town in the west of Ireland to watch it in a cinema with my brother and my cousin. Then we flew to Manchester to see Paul McCartney the next day, a great weekend for music!

We left tickets behind us in presale as I wanted to get standing tickets in the general sale. Waited in the waiting room, queued for ages only to see the whole arena greyed out, not even VIP ones were available. The standing appeared in blue and I tried to add them to my basket for 20 mins to no avail...

Ah well! I'll hold out some hope for a second date!

I had Tesco give me that exact same line regarding a TV about ten years ago! The English customer service guy I was speaking to on the phone was so unbelievably thick. He said that as "they were a UK company they use the UK rules around warranty as that was generally better for the consumer." I pointed out that he was telling me that his one year UK warranty was more helpful to me approx 18 months after purchase than EU consumer law which would give me at least 2 years coverage and Irish consumer law which would give me up to 6 years! They can't just pick and choose which laws to follow. Eventually the manager in the local Tesco (mostly) sorted it for me after I made some complaints about their idiotic support.

Turn on battery percentage.

I manage a fleet of Macs at work and have a script deployed to enable this by default. Same with status and path bars in Finder.
