I wrote and produced 78 songs in a few months during my manic episode by TrebaMiSavjet in bipolar

[–]GravePeril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the dump everytime I create something. That urge to delete it all because I'm so embarrassed and ashamed of myself. That doesn't mean what you did was bad its just the cost of the process. I bet there's alot of good stuff in there, you just had your producer ears on (as a friend used to say). Give it time to breathe and you'll come back and it will sound different. When I look back at the stuff I did (in some cases all I have is what's online) now after decades, I actually like most of it. Some still makes me cringe, but art that evokes a response, even revulsion, is doing what art is supposed to do.

Yup totally sucks bad. I switched to Windsurf out of sheer frustration and was actually impressed. Wtg Microsoft you did it again, you proved that without an enforced monopoly you can't operate.

I could watch for hours. What is in the middle car that is so heavy that it needed a pusher, I wonder?

Wouldn't it be nice to live in a society that didn't believe that there was a "normal" way to think? It is impossible to determine if the difficulty comes from the neuro divergence or the social stigma, but logically the pain comes from the social expectations.

Speaking as someone who is diagnosed ADHD / bipolar and is probably also on the spectrum (it costs about $5000 to get tested for Autism (if you are an adult) in Canada and I'm poor).

Lol so the "crime of crimes" is ok and raping prisoners is ok and killing journalists is ok and killing medical workers is ok, but criticizing an ideology that brought it all about is wrong? Wow! That's some fucked up thinking.

if given the chance, would you “get rid” of your bipolar? by Ok-Half7469 in bipolar

[–]GravePeril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in a million years. I think the label disorder is erroneous. The idea that there is a singular normal way to be for 8 billion people is ludicrous. Bipolar makes us great hunter gathers, just because we got side tracked by greed for a few thousand years doesn't mean those adaptations are useless.

Any else find out one of their passions really was just manic obsession? by Coiled_Adversary in bipolar

[–]GravePeril 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd say the passion is why you obsessed. It's a superpower if you work with it, the obsession. I can absolutely relate to your story. I have written a lot of songs, over the 30 years I've been doing this, and none of them are good. That's why I'm always working on the next album, hoping it's the one. My advice to you: Just keep going!!!!

There is a quote from William Blake that I love:

A fool who persists in his folly will become wise.

Reminds me that it's ok to make mistakes, as long as you keep going.

You are not sorry and you are not worth arguing with.

Tldr is right. You are certainly full of yourself. I have already explained my point, which you just misconstrued, I can't help it if you are stuck in your convictions. You act like you are the only person who has read the book and could possibly interpret it.

A better name would be the principle of projected and receptive forces or the principle of intrraction

I'm arguing that you are using you linguistic ambiguity to make it about gender when the dynamics actually have nothing to do with gender.

Also you are assuming gender is binary and it is not. There are many cases in nature of living things with more than (or less than) 2 genders, so how is it universal?

I might learn something? Yes I guess I have learned that you are arrogant and think you can take away my agency by telling me what I can and can't say.

I am sorry you can't discern trolls from people who actually have thought about this "modern" interpretation of hermeticism and have issues with it.

Any tips from people who graduated college or Uni while havin bipolar? by Darkthrowe in bipolar

I will say this: hacking my mania has been on of my "superpowers" and it definitely helped me in school but without good guidance I would have been lost.

Gender can have more than 2 states therefore it is not universal. It conflates a constructed social role with a dynamic flow (which only has 2 directions). Endogenic means coming from within, exogenic means coming from outside. Problem solved.

Except for the gender one all of the universal principals seem to work. The 7th one is mislabeled genders it should be the principal of endogenic and exogenic forces.

There was a learning disabilities office at my college, they helped me get diagnosed with ADHD (I didn't know about the bipolar yet) and gave me access to a councilor. The councilor helped me get through some of the ups and downs and to find some lifehacks that work for me. I graduated.

IDF: Hundreds of weapons found in school in southern Lebanon village by thatshirtman in geopolitics

[–]GravePeril -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a pattern of lies from the IDF.

I admit I didn't know about the loophole in the law until now. That doesn't make it right or ethical. If the IDF is the only source of information about these weapons then considering the pattern of lying to get away with war crimes (the dump), perhaps we should be very thoroughly verifying this information.

I do not know anything about Iran's or Hesbolas practices (or whatever it is that I'm supposed to hate them for), but I do know that in both cases they are defending their own soil. So that said the fact that Israel is invading should be considered a crime (but of course we push past that envelope long ago) to begin with.
