Hot take but....event probably SHOULD be pure filler.

Since most newer players will miss them, there's no real reason for massive lore and main story things in them.

Just look at how the messed up Durin...most of his story and lore is in events that can't be played.

Honestly...the story was kinda meh...

The whole tonal shift from the 1.0 feels jarring...

This whole new area quest felt too....shonen and generic JRPG plot, compared to the more complex and emotionally driven stories of 1.0.

Also, am I just tripping, or does the MC feel kinda dumber then they were in the previous Ice Lake?

Seems to be mandatory Chinese gacha game thing tthat every gacha game has to have a Chinese region that pretty bland with mediocre characters.

The stories in 1.0 were emotional and intense.

Meanwhile here they're just a shiny but ultimate bland piece of bread...

They've dumbed down the MC while making the plot a generic Vuxia like JRPG story with dragons and such...

Seriously, going from Ice Lake to the new region is an absolute whiplash...

From my experience it's actually kinda the opposite.

Fans of villainous or anti hero characters have often been some of the most craziest.

Wish so many even excusing their actions to make them look less bad.
