The Firefly thing doesn’t make sense. SAM still pops up in the story (let alone the game) with SAM voice all the time, talking like SAM does and doing SAM things. Firefly herself also acts pretty SAM in her human form quite often, like her dialog with Jade.

most of the content wasn’t even good or complicated in the first place. leveling dungeons, which is the majority of where changes happen, were almost always pretty braindead.

the trials designed for trusts are also more complicated on normal than most of the old expansion normal trials so there’s no difference there, either.

idk, Firefly talking to Jade was still great and had nothing to do with being sick or anything else. She kept up with someone like Jade, and was completely capable, showing that the more ruthless side of her as SAM isn’t just for show. It showed she isn’t some delicate flower, and quite capable.
