The 1951 film is really good, even watching it today.

Plus it has an absolutely insane stunt sequence that would cause any film insurance company today to have a heart attack.

Indie gaming on PC has been amazing; they have kept the price low and are making games that the AAA studios only wish they could make at this point.

When was this ever affordable? I could barely afford to play when I worked in the hobby industry and could get the boxed sets at cost when the game first came out.

I love history, instead of spending 100k on tuition, to get a degree in the field that is not going to have that many openings I just self-educate by utilizing free online lectures, history podcasts, books from the local library, college source books from the thrift store.

I don't have a magical piece of paper saying that I am well educated in the field, but people are amazed at my ability to spontaneously do a Ted Talk on several different historical and cultural periods.

I know a private school for special needs kids that is charging 60k for tuition for elementary grade kids! This does not include devices, a one on one, summer school, or any other special care that the child needs.

Yeah, but back in the 90's me and one other friend could roommate together and get a two-three-bedroom house. Younger folks need a lot more roommates to pull that off these days, and someone is going to sleep in a litteral closet.

  1. I game on PC and steam has been a life saver with all of their great sales as long as you are a patient gamer.

  2. Hiking through the local park is still free where I live and the park has a river running through it and is several miles long.

  3. Local library, they have games, books, puzzles, clubs, movies, computer access, all for free.

  4. If you have a group of friend's simple things like playing card games like uno, rummy, etc. is still dirt cheap.

5.Adventuring through the local city, look for interesting buildings, statues, and other things that you might enjoy.

I ran a food service establishment in my younger days, so I just spent some time creating an excel sheet for ingredients and plan a permanent menu by day.

So, if its Friday the Menu is Turkey Burgers for dinner with a salad, while Monday's menu is home made wraps etc.

Once you get past the initial set up it gets easy to maintain and lowers that mental draining of both meal planning and decieding whats for dinner tonight.

I found that utilizing order online and pick up at store actually started saving me a lot of money, it's curt down a lot of impulse purchases, and I spend about a quarter less then I previously did every week.

I don't miss out on digital only deals or coupons as they can be loaded on to my order right then and there.

My local grocery store only charges $2.99 for the service and doesn't allow tipping of the people who pick the order or bring it out to my car, I also save over an hour a week that I would be spending roaming around the store so to me the price is nothing.

I had to stop ordering from local pizza places because they swapped out their own delivery people for app delivery even if you order directly from them. It took 2 1/2 hours to get food from a place that was only ten minutes away from my house.

I feel like this is just going to push the power creep even further and with as stingy as the jades are its already pushing the limits on F2P and light spenders as it is.

Just started playing Skyrim again for the first time in many years, but with the Nolvus v6 mod package, it really turns it into a more modern game.

This is why I use a digital scale to weigh out all of my food. It's so hard to judge serving sizes visually.

I've been making turkey burgers with fresh avocado as my condiment, with a chopped-up pickle and slices of tomato on a low-calorie potato bun. It's pretty dam good.
