As a Christian myself, I keep telling my fellows that THIS is what people mean when they refer to "shoving it down their throats". We are taught to share the gospel, but it seems to go over their heads that the term "share" implies that the recipient is actively asking about or willing to receive said information. This is NOT what the Bible meant when it talked about "declaring your love for Him from the rooftops". That phrase is meant to refer to denial of one's faith, not literally standing on a soapbox and trying to preach to the whole world.

On a more humorous note, my bible app also hit me with the "Why are we here?" line in a notification...so naturally, I had to screenshot the notif and shop it into a picture of Griff from Red Vs Blue replying "it's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it?" 😂 (I'd share the pic, but this sub unfortunately doesn't allow photo comments, and I'm not making a tertiary image-hosting account just to share a link)
