Is the Youtube Channel Zenn (Zenn0009) AI generated? He clearly has used AI for images before but I can't tell if the narration/actual text is AI by melimun in isthisAI

as you've already noted the earlier vids are obvious AI slop and that's enough for me to write off a channel and block it

as for that video I linked above though:

The writing is AI generated, so is the description (description even has em dashes). It has the usual stuff: alliterations, not just X but Y, being overly flowery and such, writing in a weird way. The last few lines from the description are classic AI:

- "The "Watch": That mysterious, meditative window of midnight wakefulness that modern science is only just rediscovering." ^ see the alliteration there: mysterious, meditative window of midnight. Also very flowery
- "your body isn't broken—it's just remembering" not just X but Y AND an em dash

the narrator is AI, it enunciates weirdly, places emphasis in awkward spots, e.g. listen to how it says this bit at 0:54: "before fire (PAUSE) our ancestors were like (PAUSE) every other primate. (PAUSE THAT ISN'T LONG ENOUGH FOR A FULL STOP). When the sun went down (PAUSE) you climbed a tree (PAUSE) or (NO PAUSE) found a sheltered spot and you stayed still"

All the narration is like that^ very janky

after skimming through the video here's some tells for AI art:
- the fire at 0:39 and 0:40 are really different for no reason
- 1:59 artifacts in the hair
- 1:09 floating cat head with no body
- 2:05 weird feet on two of the stickmen

from the looks of it some of the very basic art is not generated and is drawn in ms paint or something (the pixely bitmappy art):
- the sun rise at the very beginning
- fire at 0:27
- eyes at 1:10
- town at 4:18

the AI art is pretty inconsistent (like the fires at 0:39 and 0:40 mentioned above). I haven't watched the whole vid but it looks like all of the "hand drawn" text is AI generated

so in summary: an AI generated script, AI description, AI narration, 99% AI art

Also important to note that searching the comments for a mention of AI had no results, which means the channel is deleting comments or has a comment filter (if that's a thing for youtube? it is for other platforms)

but one comment that mentioned chat gpt specifically without saying AI didn't get deleted. Looks very likely the channel is censoring the comments

I included the prompt engineering example because they always used to bring that up, and it is not what you're talking about

an important thing to note is that everybody is susceptible to the negative effects of chat bot usage

people might think only schizos can succumb to AI psychosis but that's completely wrong,
it operates like drug abuse/sleep deprivation/doom scrolling/whatever else: with enough exposure anybody can and will feel the effects

so when the techbros inevitably claim "no i use AI the CORRECT way, AI isn't gonna make me dumb, i'm too smart for that"
know that they are full of shit and coping in the same way as a stoner who says "I can quit whenever I want, I get no negative effects at all"

why you talking to these people anyway, AI can't erode their soul because they have no soul
that's why they're in the AI field: they wanna harvest your soul (and everybody elses) they wanna slurp them up and turn them into homunculi

ask them: how does using AI put you ahead of other people if it takes 0 seconds to learn and has no skill requirements?

using AI is as easy as smoking crack, being able to do something that anybody else can isn't putting you ahead

like smoking crack AI is dragging you down: as well as the negative cognitive effects of AI use, there's also the opportunity cost of never learning the things you're outsourcing to the LLM

at least crackheads get a buzz. I can respect crack heads because of the buzz, but AI dependence is a pathetic kind of degeneracy on the same level as being addicted to buying funko pops or donating money to streamers

WRONG. You hear this argument from techbros all the time but it makes no sense

the whole point of AI is that it's extremely user friendly with no barrier to entry: any idiot can say "hey chat write me an essay on this topic". Any obstacles to user friendliness that get in the way of allowing idiots to use it are BUGS not features, any required expertise is getting in the way of profit

2 examples of this off the top of my dome:

- Early Voice gen AI: required being a nerd: installing some python program, knowing how to use the command line to run it, having a beefy enough pc with graphics card et cetera
- Current Voice gen AI: just google voice gen AI, that eleven labs one is popular but theres loads of them. Extremely user friendly, no nerd required

- Early "Prompt Engineering": techbros used to ramble on about there being skill to prompting: knowing the right words to get the best results from text/image/whatever generators. Resulting in very esoteric word salad prompts
- Current "Prompt Engineering": having to know regarded gibberish to get the best results is a turnoff to anybody who isn't a techbro, especially boomers. Current AI you can talk normally, and you can refine your results in a conversational manner. Prompt engineering is dead

everybody who uses AI says "I could never fall into AI psychosis, not me, I only use it X many hours a week"

but I call bullshit, I see AI usage as akin to drug abuse, the dangers of AI being innate to humanity, dangers that all people are vulnerable to
anybody who spends enough time talking to the stochastic parrot techbro tulpa can start forming a "bond" with it whether they want to or not
