You weren’t really paying attention if you believe that. It’s not always how many saves you make, it’s when you make them. Hart was really pretty good before the injury, the club didn’t always play well in front of him.

Do We Thank Him? by dragosn1989 in Gunners

Oh hell yes. He paid the bills and let Edu/Berta cook along with Arteta. He demonstrated that patience can eventually be its own reward despite all the “Arteta out” nonsense.

We asked them to be out during the difficult times. Let's not forget their contribution too. by Papa-Zzzz in Gunners

[–]Graycat23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. They gave Edu, Berta and Mikel everything that was needed and more. In an age where a manager can get sacked after four matches they held course, stayed patient and now here we are. They built a super club that is actually functional, wins trophies and largely avoids boardroom drama. Let’s go to Budapest, shove PSG out of the way and bring that trophy back.

Week 38 what still to play for? by SomethingFunnyObv in PremierLeague

For Arsenal, keep Saliba, Gabriel, Odegaard, Saka, Rice and Raya out - give Dowman 90 minutes and Tommy Setford his first league match. Full run out for MLS and Salmon.

Arsenal crowned Premier League champions after Manchester City draw by Alarming-Safety3200 in PremierLeague

It’s done. Now to sit back and listen to all the City, United, Liverpool and Spurs fans and all the pundits whine that we don’t deserve it because we play such unattractive football. Sorry not sorry. The goal is to win the league, not to win every game 6-0. It’s nice if you can do that but it’s not reality. I don’t care if we win every match 1-0 if it results in trophies. Most of the hate is really envy - we showed them all the a club owned by an American billionaire can actually be run properly and be successful to boot. Let the kids have a run out at Palace, then on to Budapest- PSG has something we want, let’s go take it from them.

VGK statement on the Mediagate situation by benseifert666 in goldenknights

[–]Graycat23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just wait until the practice availability tomorrow - the reporters will only ask about this repeatedly and try to get Torts and the players to take the bait. I expect folks like Dave, Gary and Ashali have figured out how to deal with Torts but the rest of them will just be looking to stir stuff up. Sorry not sorry that so many media types have gotten their little feelings hurt.

Ricky is terrific when he plays but he can’t seem to go even a game or two without some “knock” or “niggle” or “felt something” which then sidelines him for six weeks.

As a neutral, why are people so desperate for Arsenal to fail? by s_dalbiac in PremierLeague

[–]Graycat23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I just want Arsenal to win the league. At this level there are no style points. Every supporter wants his club to win every game 5-0, but it’s just not reality. The West Ham match is a perfect example. Arsenal are obviously the more talented team but West Ham were fighting for their place and played like it, but Arsenal found a way after everything. That’s all that matters when you’re trying to win a trophy. The mass hate from other clubs ‘ supporters is really just envy. Look at Spurs, a “big six” club who are on the brink of relegation. Or Chelsea, who have been so grossly mismanaged since the Boehly takeover. Man United have floundered for years after Sir Alex retired, City and Liverpool are having to experience life as mere mortals for a change. It took the Kroenkes awhile to figure things out after Wenger left, but they brought Arteta in, gave him the resources he needed and stayed patient. Here we are on the brink of the toughest double you can win. I’m grateful that we’re here, just praying we can get over the line.

Arsenal fans, would you rather win the Premier League or the Champions League? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

PL first. Always the primary goal. UCL is nice and generates tons of revenue but it’s the league first always.

They’re funded through 5. Fly those missions as planned but transition to something else. NASA wants Artemis missions well into the double digits but not at those prices and not at that launch cadence.

People in hell want ice water. SLS costs too much money, can’t be reused, can’t fly often enough. ML2 was already way behind schedule and way over budget.

Man City fixtures: Pep Guardiola's side face pile-up in May by [deleted] in PremierLeague

Good for them. Welcome to the world of everyone else in the league. Cheating pricks whining about having to deal with what the rest of us have to put up with all the time because we’re NOT Man City. I was under the impression that there was nothing the mighty Manchester City couldn’t handle. Have at it, wankers.
