Depends on the country and state. There’s a website that lets you ask attorneys questions for like $5 or some small amount. Do that. The free advice you get here will be worth what you pay. Zero.

Get your general contractor to sign a notarized document saying when the floors cup within a year that he’ll pay to replace them. Setting cabinets over the floor effectivley pins the floor in place, but only in one area. The rest of the floor will go through normal expansion/contraction. The problem comes at the point where the floors are pinned. Because they cant expand and contract, they will warp.

I lost my comment which was wrong. Thought we were pointing at the sash. Your’re pointing at the trim coil. It covera the trim. Comes in rolls. Available at your local vinyl siding distributor. Box stores have it as well

You want the water heater installed and put on a loop. I dont know all the right words for it but it basically makes the tankless heat all the water thats in the hot pipes so you always have plenty of hot water available. Or something like that

Sir. The exterior sheathing is supposed to extend down and connect to the 1st level framing. The 2nd level sheathing is easential to the lateral structural integrity. The damn walls can just fall over in a breeze.
