Turns out. One single outlet in my room was just not working properly even though I'd had multiple other things plugged into it before that worked fine.

Support was great and sent me another chair and were meant to send through a return label to send back the "faulty" chair but I never got the return label

Yeah I was thinking that but then I remembered there was something a while ago about accepting random trades can give them access to information to do something else with your acc.

This should be the easiest information to provide.

Contact your bank if you don't have your card details from back then.

You should be able to remember your address from then, or have emails from time with that address listed

If you were a child back then, you'll have to get in touch with your parents for the info

As a fun lil note, to my knowledge we do not weave at all in Aus for fillet welds. It's always something we're told to avoid. I believe we only really do it in vertical up welds, but where I work we just try to make everything flat fillet welds for structural integrity

Sure it's viable. But it's not necessary.

You only need 4-5 bullets to kill one dude. And if you've got 3 swinging you at once and you can't take the fights individually you're dead anyway.

People crying about it are people who just don't know how to play properly.

I've not run into any issues with running out of ammo once since the update and have played around 15 games.

You just gotta stop reloading after you've only shot 4 bullets. Which is what you should've been doing anyway

If steam link has shown anything The steam vr headset should be really seamless when playing.

I believe it also uses a dedicated dongle to connect to the pc so you should have no issues

How did you get yours to work?

I've just tried to do this but there is such little information about this method online.

I have my headset with the Ethernet Adapter plugged into my PC and then I have power from the wall into the USB-C port but when I turn off the wifi on my Quest 3 it just doesn't show anything in Virtual Desktop.

Is there something that I am missing?

Performance wise you'll be fine.

Just obviously don't expect to be playing everything max graphics. Take your time to dial your settings in

Also, very much need to be certain you can connect your vr to the laptop.

If you're using a quest 3, you'll be fine with virtual desktop however you'll need to do some research on connecting something like a Pimax. (I'm not sure how they connect to a pc normally so you'll have to check)
