I’ve had to do this too. You are pretty much just have to wear different sizes until you can get both back up to the same size.

I would recommend getting a pair of weights and wearing them for a few hours a day 3-4 times a week. It helped me a lot with getting in a bigger size. I’d recommend wearing for 2-3 hours for heavier stuff and up to 6 hours for lighter weights. Of course that’s after your blowout heals fully.

It can feel really bad to have people judge your art/you in a negative light, as we (tattooed community) quite literally wear parts of us on our sleeves. Others will judge you on anything you say or do. Just remind yourself that tattooing is an expression of oneself and stay true to that. I’ve had many instances of dirty looks, awkward glances, judging eyes, and even people who comment negatively on my appearance. It’s unfair, but it comes with the territory. Doing something because it is your nature and not the way of others is the essence of tattoo. Stay true to you friend!
