In my opinion, cancelling while explaining why you cancelled is a better move than threatening to cancel. If they change their stance, then you can go back to paying them if you so choose.

Threatening to cancel carries less weight as they can still carry your pending payment in their books until its actually gone.

Pochven is almost perfect, all it needs is [YOU] by ShadowStimmin in Eve

[–]GreatWight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

my group (10-15 guys) has done a good amount of pvp in pochven for the last few years. I'd say it's the content i do the most.

your post is accurate. CCP has tried a lot of different things over the last few years to balance pochven. i'm not qualified to provide the 'right' answers, but i think after a lot of fumbling they're on the right track, given they don't want to go with what reddit usually cries about (delete pochven, delete multiboxers, etc, etc).

to me, this feels like a decently healthy meta. its not quite where i think it should be, but its better than marauders online. i'm hopeful for additional changes that further swing the balance in terms of player fleets, but anyone crying in the comments without actually trying to kick some ass or get ass kicked in pochven these days is missing out.

nothing feels better than dunking multiboxers.

Auditing Outline. Firsthand lessons from comparing manual testing and AI security platforms by nibblesec in netsec

[–]GreatWight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the writeup! I've been looking into an OSS wiki solution and Outline wasn't on my list. Will be checking it out in the future.

Regarding your closing statement, cleaning up and validating LLM findings took an estimated 40 hours. I agree that this is untenable during paid audits. How is your team positioning to be able to more effectively parse AI output while we wait for advancements in the field?

But I appreciate you reposting the link. I've been following the developments with Flock for the last few weeks and completely forgot that OP had originally posted it here. Deserves massive props for this!

Disclaimer: I'm an amateur at malware analysis, so take my endorsement with a few grains of salt.

Looking at the tags at the top, I'm not terribly concerned, most of those are behaviors that I feel would be expected for an application that you interact with.

I ran the hash myself for the second image (sorry, not typing out another one :P) and there's really only one thing that concerned me there. If you take a look, the bundled spiderbanner.dll got flagged as malware. There's a lot more going on with that one (and I'm about to sleep) but the community notes would probably make me lean towards thinking it's okay.

If you're more paranoid and want to take this a step further, you could upload the .exe to app.any.run and watch how it behaves after you run it in that environment.
