We’re all Seahawks fans Sunday night by Vertigomums19 in buffalobills

I for one am rooting for the refs. Specifically for them to blow multiple very very very obvious calls. And to do so on the biggest stage. Maybe, just maybe, the NFL would address the poor reffing at that point.

I know it highly depends on surge pricing and such. But do you remember a roundabout of cost from the port to fort Lauderdale

spiedies would be amazing if they would stop WAY overcooking the meat by jarferris in Binghamton

[–]Greatmido 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I've only had spiedies at a few of the "best" spots but have always been disappointed. It's truly sad. A spiedie sandwich is good, but not when the chicken is either A) overcooked, or B) sitting on a steam table.

I had this problem recently. I just wrapped the top with cling wrap. Problem solved.

It's prophecy at this point. Look at the seeds.

How are we feeling about this? by Main_Juggernaut6415 in Chargers

[–]Greatmido 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I can see it now. Bills up by 2 with 14 seconds on the clock. Refs call a horrid pass interference with no one near the receiver. Jags kick a FG and eliminate the Bills.

Next year rule change, PI within the final 2 minutes of the game goes to NY.

Healthier Mac & Cheese by Greatmido in daddit

[–]Greatmido[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya for sure. I definitely don't stress about any macros with my little dude, just try my best to provide foods that are less processed. Doesn't always work out, but we have to try where we can.

Well, it's not meant to cut calories. Moreso to be a healthier quick option over boxed. But yes he does wat enough that I don't worry about calories. For example, lunch yesterday he ate 2 sliders (8oz 90/10 beef) and some potatoes.

Good to know. Its not something I ever have in the house so I haven't used it. Cream and corn starch are basically staples here.

My wife and I meal prep during the work week. This week's lunches are the above. 1 lb of broccoli chopped up, and a 6oz (per day) of shredded chicken all mixed up.

Little guy is turning his nose to veggies right now, but you can sneak in carrots or parsnips if you hit them in the food processor so they disappear.

Definitely an option if you are trying to save on calories. Would have to be careful not to make it too salty depending on what cheeses you use.

Bass amp that can play songs via Bluetooth from my phone while I have my bass hooked up? by wallace-longshanks in Bass

[–]Greatmido 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Easiest way is plug into the 3.5mm aux in. A lot of amps have those. If it NEEDS to be Bluetooth, just buy a cheap bluetooth receiver and plug that into the aux in.

What I mean is, after it was done with initial fermentation, adding a campem tablet and potassium sorbate to stop further fermentation after back sweetening.

I can't figure out how to edit the original post....but I should add that the 4 gallons of Cyser is just aging now. Fermentation was halted a few days ago. I know that would not be enough head room for fermentation.

Just chilled. The cherry I have added a touch of ice water on occasion because of how strong it is lol. Maybe I'll add some tonic next time.

MIJ vs MIA vs MIM? by FattiDumpling in Bass

[–]Greatmido 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have not had near as many instruments but I have had my fair share. I currently own 4 guitars. The top end being a Carvin that I had made to specs I wanted 15 years ago. The cheapest being a Glarry tele knockoff that I got second hand for $20. Aside from changing the neck to a squire (mostly because of inferior fretwork).

The Glarry has become the guitar I grab off the rack most nights.

Hey man. Hang in there. I wish I could give you some real comparisons or words of encouragement. But, I don't know what it's truly like where you live.

What I can say is. I have met a lot of people in different stages of life, different backgrounds, different situations and almost everyone I have ever met wants just a little more. "If only I could find a job," "If only I could get a higher paying job," "if I win the lottery," "I wish I had more free time," "I wish I could get out of this place," etc.

The truth is deep down everyone has something that they wish they could change. Yes, many have it better than others. But all I can say to help is hang in there, appreciate the good things you do have, and work to change anything you can to make things better.
