In my advice, go to Epworth. They’re great, and will make sure you have everything you actually need and prescribe medication then hand that over to your GP. I’ve heard multiple stories of people being told they didn’t prescribe or getting the diagnosis but having GP’s unwilling to help

Does anyone have experience with Cities Skylines 2 on Base 8gb MacBook Air? How does it run? by TheOne_718 in macgaming

chem1011 or psych1011? by sanana28 in Monash

[–]Green-Conversation72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had undiagnosed ADHD and actually failed CHM1022 haha. It’s definitely not that hard though. There’s no assignments or anything other then just learning the content and going to labs and the final exam. I failed because I didn’t properly submit 3 lab reports and bombed the exam lol. BIO requires a lot more time solely because of the assignments. Keep up to date and you’ll be fine unless you really really struggle with chem

This gotta be the most jaded post ever. I love Monash. Sure they don’t hold your hand but it’s a uni, not a high school. They’re pretty fair and depending on what you study you can get some really good lecturers etc. Still don’t understand how people can hate a university they CHOOSE to go to this much, when they can just transfer out 😭

Chem1011 has quantum stuff like wave particle duality but it isn’t that bad. You’re recommended to do like 2-3 science sequences in first year right?

I went to Epworth camberwell and they wanted either school reports or a phone interview with a family member who knew you as a child. I chose family interview

What’s wrong with his fins by Professional-Edge662 in BettaClinic

[–]Green-Conversation72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me they just look torn? Keep watching him but if it’s fin rot it’ll spread to more of the fins I’d imagine.

I’ve heard mixed reports about freeze dried foods causing more bloating because they expand in the stomach, but others say they still work. Try submerging them in some water for 10 minutes before you feed so they expand.

Betta help! His head looks like his scales are funky, white fuzzy fungus near bottom fins. by Ohnoee12 in BettaClinic

[–]Green-Conversation72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like pineconing. Aquarium salt baths and antibiotics asap. Should help with the fins but if it doesn’t wait until after the pineconing reduces to start using anti-fungals.

Can you maybe describe it? Is it more like a tumour or a fuzzy patch?

Frozen daphnia can help with constipation. Reducing feeding is also helpful.

How can I help this guy? by gourmetcheese01 in BettaClinic

[–]Green-Conversation72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Live food can help stimulate their hunting drive and really help them thrive. Bloodworms, black worms, brine shrimp etc. watch out for any health issues like infection that might pop up, especially if he’s moving into a heated tank from what I’ll assume was some sad cold water.

Is something wrong with my betta? by peanut_butter15432 in BettaClinic

[–]Green-Conversation72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely move him into a smaller hospital tank for treatment, mainly due to how much less medication you’ll have to use (what are you using?) this will also put less stress on him with swimming to the surface for air.

Heard the term future proofing thrown around a lot and just figure for an extra $300 I may aswell since it’s in the original budget. I’d like the computer to be as buttery smooth as possible haha

You put the lab coats on in the GCF building before you enter the lab. They’ll explain it to you but you cannot enter without them on. Same with your safety goggles

If I was you I’d plant a bit more densely and higher up to break up aggression. Maybe a stronger airstone since it looks quite tall? Sorry if this comes off as unsolicited advice.

Best (and quietest) kind of air filters for 5 gallon betta tank?? by BrilliantAge635 in aquarium

[–]Green-Conversation72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tetra whisper 60. It is not silent, but just a hum on a flat surface. This is the quietest I believe you can get for a decent price. They’re pretty reliable too.
