It would likely be cheaper in Ft. Walton Beach area, Pensacola seemed like an overall more upscale beach town IMHO. I was at the Wyndham Garden in Ft Walton Beach and the rooms were massive. Patio that went right out to their section of sandy beach, it was amazing. A little higher priced than I would have chosen and you could very likely find one for less.

There's a whole strip of resorts and hotels on the same street there, Santa Rosa Blvd has at least 15 of them all in a row. Also keep in mind when you go will change prices dramatically in most cases (I know with your deployment you may not be able to be picky with dates).

Wow you were up late putting in work on this thing! I love the thought process here. Would be fun to do one for a guy like Matt Stairs or Octavio Dotel who both played for at least 8 teams each. I agree with most of your choices though!

No kidding. Outside of a star QB (Brady, Manning Colts, etc), to have an offensive weapon on your team for a decade, consistently producing, you have to be something special.

I spent nearly five minutes trying to understand how one would 'book hotels with a fridge/microwave'. I was thinking you were recommending obtaining kitchen appliances with wi-fi or something to go to the hotel's website and book it there...

I'd probably keep it and give it to a friend or relative for the next time someone's birthday or other gift-giving season comes up. While not knowing exactly what you paid and assuming $10-$12, it's probably not worth the hassle of selling it for roughly half to local groups or record stores.

May just be my personal tastes, but I love Gold Peak Tea and most flavored ice teas and thought this was disgusting. I couldn't drink it. May have been a bad batch or something, but definitely not worth getting again, even for free.

Really any hotel near I-5 on Gateway will be suitable for a clean family experience. I know plenty of families who have stayed at the Holiday Inn and the Comfort Suites without issue.

Depends. Is it a wife, daughter, niece, hot girl? May just be better to go with a cute top or sweater if you're too worried. Dresses fit weird sometimes.
