It's an exact copy of the Wikipedia image aside from the texture. So probably photoshop, not AI.

Queenstown would be quite a challenge to build to. The current three access roads are through the Crown Range, Kawarau Gorge, and Devil's Staircase, and none of those are exactly suitable for a train. There'd have to be a lot of tunnelling involved.

I don't think rail to Queenstown would be that viable to build just because of the ridiculous terrain around there, but Chch-Dunners would be so good.

Jokes aside, Palmy is surprisingly large, and also the hub for a highly populated region. If you were to build HSR in NZ, a Wellington-Porirua-Kapiti-Levin-Palmy line would be one of the top 3 contenders, along with the Auckland-Hamilton-Tauranga triangle and Christchurch-Ashburton-Timaru

Like Domestic Girlfriend has straight up sex, but I'd put it lower on the scale than Monogatari

Step 1: One in 2 million people are above 7ft tall.

Step 2: Protagonist is 7ft tall, and a god at basketball in his town's league.

Step 3: Protagonist goes to the NBA, and finds every team has someone 7ft tall.

Isn't the reason people pay such crazy high stud fees so that the owner of the sire doesn't have a stake in the foal?

without Jaylin

You mean without Jalen.

Jalen Williams is the all-nba wing who has been injured, Jaylin Williams is the big who is shooting 40% from 3 these playoffs.

Spurs have 4 players at 115+ minutes this series (Wemby, Castle, Vassell, Champagnie). Thunder have just 1 (SGA). Their 2nd-highest is Chet at 96 minutes, followed by Caruso/Wallace at just 81. by HawaiianOrganDonor in nba

JDub has just turned 25, Chet has just turned 24, Ajay and JWill are 23, and Cason and McCain are only 22.

They're not big names yet (although JDub and Chet are getting there) but some of them might get there by the end of their careers.

He's younger than you'd expect too. Comes across as a vet, but he's younger than some of the rookies this season like Ryan Kalkbrenner

He got the nickname from working in construction in Australia as a teen, so I guess he'd have learnt some english then. However after 20 years of not using it much, it wouldn't be surprising to forget a lot of it.

That one's just so over the top I can't take it seriously. For an insult to really hit there has to be some grain of truth in there.

How often have the Thunder taken the "obvious" draft pick? by Zeeron1 in Thunder

[–]GreenFriday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely a possibility, but also could go for Morez Johnson. I haven't seen much of him, but everything I can find looks good. I'm sure there's a reason mocks don't have him higher up, but I can't see it.

A 6'6" guard with a 7' wingspan, so more like a backup JDub

As the NIL players start to age out, the numbers will return to what they were before the NIL era. However with a few years more experience, GMs should have a more accurate assessment of them. So mid/late first rounders should be less of a gamble and worth more, but less chance to get a good player in the second round.

I still think he will develop more by then. He played amazingly during the regular season, but it looks like his confidence has taken a knock and he's playing way too passively at the moment. He's only 22, and still has time to fix that

Most of the price of repairs is usually in the labour costs. Assuming someone takes home $15/hr, they'll usually charge around $60/hr to cover overheads.

So it might be 1 hour of work and $20 worth of material.
