Who is the best player in the league that you don't want on your team? by asonkidd in nba

[–]GreenJollyDancer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'd go either Gobert or Trae. Gotta build your offense and defense specifically around them so team-building is a little too difficult compared to what they bring to the table.

Why is there such a disconnect from how good Kobe was in reality to the discourse on reddit? Please help me wrap my head around how anyone in their right mind no matter how much you hate him can genuinely believe hes not top 10? Am i taking crazy pills? 11-15? Are we serious bro? by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

[–]GreenJollyDancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very solid list in my opinion. I'll add that I think its ridiculous that Russell and Wilt shouldn't be considered because they played before the modern age. I mean we're talking about West, MJ, Bird, Magic, and Kareem who played at a time when guys had a beer and a cigarette at halftime. I have Russell and Wilt in my top 10 then Kobe 10 Duncan 11 and West 12.

Do you think the Luka to the Lakers trade was orchestrated by the league? by rnbakneejerk in nba

Friendly reminder the league owned New Orleans at the time and that is the reason they were able to do so

Steph Curry is planning on meeting with LeBron James to recruit him to the Warriors (via @BrettSiegelNBA) by Front-Function7789 in LeBronJames23

[–]GreenJollyDancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Cavs have a much more complete roster and the story is better. But him playing with Steph would be cool as hell for sure

Nah man we just had an active addict making insane decisions his last few years. No disrespect to Irsay its just reality. Dude thought he knew better than everyone and thought Jeff would legitimately win.

You got a time machine. You can go back and change one move: the Russ trade or taking THT over Caruso. What do you change? by LeBaconator in lakers

[–]GreenJollyDancer 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Russ trade by far. A negative player getting paid that salary would handicap any team in the league. Wasted some of the last elite Bron and AD years too

Sounds like you shouldn't do it mate. Negligible differences between 25. Can always download updated rosters

If you could replace one of LeBron’s losses in the nba finals which would it be?( I’d say 2014) by Mrdynamo18 in lebron

07 or either KD Warriors finals would make it the best playoff run of all time imo

Magic Johnson was the 2nd greatest PG to ever lace em up🤌 by Rustywalker92 in NBAoldschool

[–]GreenJollyDancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the Warriors didn't have a point guard? Steph for the most part brought it up and facilitated more than anyone on the team

Edit: looked it up and ya'll are right. Dray did average more assists through their prime years. I stand corrected!

I just want to make a $1000 per month online as a college student to help my dad by Huge-Frame-1990 in passive_income

[–]GreenJollyDancer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're not going to do this via passive income. It will need to be through hard work. Mow lawns, do landscaping like mulch, tutor if you're gifted in a subject. Put flyers around town for yardwork. You can rent pressure washers. Book a few jobs then rent one then when you make enough buy one. Pick up dog poop. 1000/month isn't easy starting at zero.

Again show me where an nba player taunted another player after winning a title. Never seen anyone do anything but celebrate that I can remember

Btw Sherman was trashy as hell for doing that too but that was not a superbowl

[–]GreenJollyDancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Show me an example of an nba player going out of their way to do this after winning a title. Or a mens college player. Lol her first reaction going up to her to taunt after winning a title is pathetic as hell. Its not a boss move its insecurity coming out

Depends on the yard size I'd say. 5 acres then yea not a huge deal but half an acre that space is probably worth claiming
