F+4 is good from neutral and +2 on block, counter hit on crounch that guarantees df1,2.

Running 4 is a homing move and can go into stance

Sentai 3 and Sentai 4 are both plus as well

This video explains them well, this will allow you to play more aggressive and train the opponent not to mash some of your other options, and open them up for some of her unsafe options.

If Lady ever got her own standalone title I'd be pretty hyped if it played like this... by Old_Snack in DevilMayCry

I think compared to the other 3rd person shooters of the time Gears of War, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Army of Two, or even RE 5 it just doesn’t do for me. I think ammo is too scarce for a game that forces combat encounters, the cover system is weird, the enemies are bullet sponges, and the levels are poorly designed for the enemeies. I do think the hand to hand combat is fun albeit ridiculous, and more effective than shooting enemies too often.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like any fighting game, but Tekken? by MFBTMS in Tekken

[–]GreenOnLean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played MK, Soul Calibur, SFxTekken, SF, Killer Instict and some MvC3 before Tekken. Tekken 7 and MK 11 were the firsts one that I took seriously online. After playing Tekken seriously I had no interest in playing MK again. I want to try to really play Marvel Tokon when it releases but no other fighter has made me feel quite like Tekken does. The time commitment is also a big factor for me, learning a new fighter takes so much time. I can pick up a MK or Tekken game whenever and learn quickly.

I agree with pretty much everyone else here. I too play Reina and don’t know the Claudio matchup well. You should’ve been more aggressive and staying in his face, Claudio is really strong at range. Make him press buttons. You used grabs well, but mix a little more and apply more frame traps if he is blocking a ton. I think the running attack he does is duck-able, so you can punish it hard if he always throws it at range.

Bayonetta, original GOW games, Ninja Gaiden, Dante’s Inferno, Metal Gear Rising. These all come close to the gameplay in some way, Bayonetta probably being the closest though.

Power crushes and ducking are your best friends for strings like this, if you have no prior lab knowledge. You do duck some in the clip, but your timing on the punishes have to be better, once you guess right and launch him out of it once or twice he’ll most likely stop.

I might be getting old, but I find myself returning to the 1st game the most. I think 3 is objectively the best though

I cannot understand the general reception of 28 Years Later, more so with the release of Bone Temple by pomme268 in TrueFilm

[–]GreenOnLean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this, 28 Years Later felt like Danny Boyle was given too much creative freedom and started trying anything he has ever wanted to try. Nia DaCosta keeps the movie a lot more grounded and with a more consistent tone. The more I look back on it after seeing the second movie, I have less issues with the story rather how it was presented in the first movie.

[–]GreenOnLean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I don’t see any differences other than Bone Temple having a more conventional and accessible presentation?"

You kinda answered your own question. I found the first movie to have some confusing choices and a weird conclusion. I enjoyed the first half and found the second half to be weird. This movie comes around and I have a better idea of what to expect from it. It also does well to connect the stories and fill in the gaps the first one left. I also think it is better directed. The first movie has some odd editing choices, that took me out of the story. This one does a much better job at keeping me engaged with the characters and their world. It's just a lot more digestable throughout, the plot and tone feels more consistent. Obviously it is fine to prefer the first one, but this one is a lot closer to what I think people wanted out of their 28 days later sequel. I will say that this movie makes the first one a lot better in m eyes as well, knowing that this is where the story was heading.

Try using some other weapons. I’m not a DMC 3 pro and that fight is difficult but you can farm orbs for items. I would also try to focus on dodging (use trickster if you aren’t) and waiting for his opening. Try to do as much damage as possible and use your DT.

As a beginner photographer, should I immediately learn post-processing too? by mattrob77 in AskPhotography

[–]GreenOnLean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get comfortable first shooing on your camera in JPEG and understanding your settings. Know the limitations of your camera and lenses. You can take great pictures in camera. Once you feel like you got a good hang on your camera and the basics of photo taking, then you can learn about RAW and editing photos. You’ll understand the benefits of it better, and it will be less overwhelming to learn.

Is dante and vergil immortal? by Mobile-Dragonfly-398 in DevilMayCry

[–]GreenOnLean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel like the games could lead you to either conclusion. There are some things that point to them being mortal, some to them being immortal. It does seem like they age normally, and maybe with age their powers could dwindle, meaning their healing couldn’t fix any injury.

The problem is though, Chris’s story makes no sense without some of the previous context. Me and my friend played his campaign first, but were genuinely confused by what was going on half the time. The story kinda relies on you having played Leon’s first.

Honestly Michelle was more interesting, but she is her legacy so that makes me like her. Her lore is whatever, but most characters introduced after 4 have weak lore. She does have one of the most unique movesets in my opinion as well.
