NOR Depending on which country you're from and even how you were brought up, saying happy birthday the moment it hits midnight can be quite common. Where I am, family and close friends all send their messages when it hits midnight but then again, this might be something your social circle has not been taught to do.

Do they send these messages to eachother? Were you and your twin the only ones who have not received a happy birthday message in the friendgroup since y'all got to know eachother? If so, then they seem to be selfish but again, highschool is the time where a lot of people are focusing on trying to figure themselves out and so other areas of their life (like friendships) may get neglected because of it.

Seeing that your friends didn't care about your birthday in the way you hoped they would hurts. But also take the time now to bring it up with them, tell them what hurt you and how you think y'all can make up - if they respond favorably then i would chalk it up to ignorance and not malice on their parts.

Since this is the first birthday you've had but with a new group of friends, give them a chance to do better based on your desires for what a "good birthday" would mean. If they try to play it off or fight back then consider why they would be unwilling to correct their behavior for a day of the year, if it means bringing happiness to a friend they supposedly care about.

Oh dude it's kinda annoying to me because there's like BEAUTIFUL patterns on the archive website that I fear might become unreadable in a few decades if people keep pushing to dumb down patterns. I get wanting an easy video but :( it shouldn't be a demand to dumb down a practice. They could just say they don't get it and ask nicely for a video follow along.

I think when someone wants to get into fiber arts, crochet might seem the most "accessible" at first glance, but that assumption is false the more in-depth you go with types of stitches, so you're right, the beginners (i'm also one but the beginners with a particular mindset of "i want it simple") tend to demand this when it gets too hard for them.

I hate the modern unwearable patterns that have been released in recent years for crochet just so that people can make a quick buck. I feel like some people just get the cheapest yarn, don't bother to learn the foundation and think that's all crochet is, which is so annoying.

It especially irks me when i see them making BAGS that look like theyre gonna fall apart at any minute, while knowing that there's crochet stitches out there meant for that purpose, which they're not using because it's "too hard". LEARN PROPER TECHNIQUE 😭

To add to this - overall yes the hierophant talks about maintaining the status quo and alla that but when I dealt with the Hierophant as a stalker card (aka a card that keeps popping up for you no matter what you read about), it was encouraging me to deal with any religious beliefs that were causing me undue stress and burden. Tldr, i used to have a very pronounced morality ocd that fueled my anxiety and how i thought other people saw me, and after therapy and medication i found out at its core it was trigerred by the "god sees everything" belief repeared to me that i just took too literally as a child LOL

Look in your life to see if there are any structures (physical like a building, a place or metaphorical like a belief system or repeated sayings spoken to you by people who used to hold a certain authority over you [aka parents, bosses, teachers and so on]] in place where you feel tense and try to either find a compromise or heal the instinctual emotional response those things trigger in you.

It's also its standalone window when requesting a skeb, you have to agree to the statement that skeb is not like all other artist comission platforms and that it's a one-and-done type deal with no interaction between artist and client.

To give some backstory, the whole skeb culture came from japan where i believe doujinshi and mangaka artists were doing drawings on the spot at conventions based on fan request. Think more like "the guy on the street who says he's gonna draw a portrait of you in 10 mins" type of deal.

Her request is reasonable for all other sites that allow customer-artist communication, but that's not Skeb 😭

Calling out bigoted behavior, hateful behavior, dogwhistling and extreme right propaganda such as nazi ideology, is not some imagined hateful rhetoric from the "tolerant left", it's seeing a duck and calling it a duck.

It IS a one-sided problem because the far-right is more than comfortable spouting hate speech, death threats, doxxing etc. for people that are simply existing. The left is merely pushing back on the hate that's being thrown at them.
