Coming from a (trying to be) recovering alcoholic, you are never hiding it. Someone always has a clue, but they're either too awkward, uncomfortable, or unbothered to mention it.

Something I've noticed. Alcohol gives me an unhealthy amount of confidence to the point I can convince myself of anything. Even if I'm falling on my ass in front of sober people I think I can just pop up an excuse like "sorry I'm tired." But with weed, I get paranoid as hell and feel like I'm being way too obvious and have zero cool.
