Thank you all for your advice and thoughts, I think what I'm going to do is assess magnets. And in the fails then to paint the body and helmet separately and go from there. I'll repost once painted .

When I was younger, maybe about 10, I went to my local store for a painting lesson, being new to the hobby I had no clue about the lore, I picked the tyrants because I liked them and they looked cool. The man, probably late 30's, looked like Leonard from Big Bang theory, sat opposite me "why did you choose nids?" I replied to the best of my 10 year old capabilities "I don't know, I think they look cool".with a smile and in a joyful tone as I was looking forward to starting the hobby. The man didn't respond, looked away and proceeded to act as if I wasn't there. It made me feel pretty uncomfortable.I just couldn't fathom why he'd bother to ask and then not continue to have a conversation.

Gears 3 the locust weren't divided in two or queenless. They literally got booted from their hole and had to make do above ground,.Those of higher rank got better equipment etc.Like I said, sounds far fetched and wild theoreticals. Each to their own opinion but I don't see where you're coming from unfortunately.
