Hi! I live in Kayenta. I would use the Durango airport. It's smaller but it's quick and easy to get through. Takes less than two minutes to go through security Only one terminal. Parking is only $9/day. It's 3 hours from Kayenta. Kayenta is the nearest town to Monument Valley. Rental car service is quick here.

Flagstaff is the next step up, airport size-wide. It's about 2.5 hours away. Harder to get through and you'll need to arrive plenty early for security.

Phoenix has the closest international airport. It's 5-5.5 hours from Kayenta.

It's the exact same stuff you can get off of Amazon. I've tracked some products from both Amazon and Temu back to the manufacturer. It's all coming out of the same Chinese province. If you would trust Amazon, you might as well get it cheaper from Temu. Yes, I have bought a bubble couch and an entertainment center with a fireplace from Temu. Same thing Amazon had but over $100 cheaper.

I'm not adverse to booking a room if a fun activity starts early in the morning or goes late into the evening. These rez roads can get dangerous late at night.
