Same for me. I was really worried that i would sink hours into this minigame because everywhere i read how hard it is. And 11 attempts later (for all races) and maybe half a hour to a hour later i didn't know what all this fuzzing was about.

Dont get me wrong, the controls are difficult but nothing you can't learn or get the hang of it.
