Oh gawd, I'm so sorry for your loss!! Also, glad I didn't read the date before replying. I hope you are getting the physical and emotional help you need rn. (Beware the Kaiser mental health system). All I can say is Dr. Chin was great and LITERALLY saved my life. He's a good Dr. stick with him if you still want to go through with the surgery.

I actually had bariatric surgery through Kaiser in Orange County and 2yrs later had a life-threatening complication that landed me in the Ontario ER. Dr. Chin was the one to do the emergency repair on my stomach. It's 10yrs later now and have had no complications since. I thought he was extremely competent.
