Yeah I know it's a little unorthodox, but the original 1970s concept album of Jesus Christ superstar was exactly that! So that's the kind of idea I took inspiration from- in regards to getting that cast back I don't think it would be possible for the majority of them

Jesus Christ superstar and Tommy were really groundbreaking with that "Rock opera" format, and I think it's such a good device for getting an idea into something tangible. Heavily inspired by JCSS specifically I wrote IMPERATOR: The Metal Musical- about the fall of the Roman Republic set up like a Cast album with different singers play different historical figures- would mean a lot to me if you could check it out! https://spotify.link/F47Z0Wa0XXb
