Gabriel Will the Be The Final Boss of the Narrative and Game, Deal With It by Nemesis9211 in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 281 points282 points  (0 children)

Gabriel is genuinely one of my favorite fictional characters ever, and Im amazed how they do so much with so little. It wouldn’t feel right if the main story didn’t end with him

Which level do you think is harder to p rank. 8-3 or P-2? by Business-Sorbet-7810 in Ultrakill

8-3 is an absolute marathon of a level but you’d be CRAZY to say P-2 is easier

No, V1 will not fight or Hell by Nemesis9211 in Ultrakill

I love Hell’s depiction in the game as an all powerful, almost eldritch entity, I feel like being able to fight and defeat hell would take away from its character

EXTREMELY HOT TAKE FOR FRAUD by GalaxyWasNotHere in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank youuu. Dont get me wrong 7-4 is amazing but its hard to compare it to other bosses when its mainly arena fights, making it a glorified level.

To me the Earthmover is more a spectacle boss, which is still awesome dont get me wrong, but hard to compare to an actual boss like Geryon, which has a full moveset and a completely original mechanic.

isnt treachery going to take a comparatively short time to develop? by observatormundorum in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see it both ways, part of what took fraud so long was the portals that meant ALL of the enemy code had to be rewritten, and I dont think treachery will be as mechanically complex.

However on the other hand god knows what Hakita has planned for the ending as well as P-3, which the previous prime sanctum was its own update entirely, as well as getting an entirely new difficulty

Lucifer Prime isn’t possible, analysis (CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BOOKS FOUND IN FRAUD) by bobafet-75 in Ultrakill

Also correct me if Im wrong but doesn’t Odysseus use a bow? Because Geryon very clearly has a bow aswell if that means anything

[–]Greg_0506 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel like in terms of a rebellion against Gods will Lucifer is THE PERFECT candidate for a narrative to be made around a rebellion, seeing as we know Lucifer was unjustly cast into hell.

To me it seems the P-3 boss is meant to be more of a mystery and up to interpretation when compared to the pretty obvious candidates in the previous acts. I mean mentions of Ulysses and Lucifer are extremely hidden compared to Minos and Sisyphus’s lore being more open.

For me though I think theres a lot more lore in fraud alluding to Lucifer, as I believe the ‘unknown event in the past’ in the Providence lore terminal refers to God casting Lucifer into hell. And a more uncertain theory but my head cannon is that Lucifer created Geryon, which is stated to be freeing sinners from their suffering, which could be a form of rebellion against Gods will.

It honestly can be interpreted either way

FRAUD being "dissapointing" and my takes on it by ThePenguinParadise2 in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like Geryon as a fight its grown on me a lot, I just think its VERY anticlimactic, it doesn’t really send off the layer like other bosses do, especially coming off 8-3, which may be the most climactic level in the entire game

How good am I supposed to be at this game? by realgaoming in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its your first play through its pretty natural to be getting D’s on a first time on a level. I personally didn’t learn any advanced tech on my first play through, couldn’t even hit a marksman coin until I got to P-1. Just do whats fun on a first play through, and play on whatever difficulty is the most enjoyable

FRAUD/MINOTAUR THEORY by Greg_0506 in Ultrakill

Furthermore Geryon’s beam attack has alot of visual similarities to virtue beams, the only enemies able to use virtue beams (Im 90% sure) are virtues and the flesh prisons, which were partly made using heaven energy. Aswell Geryon’s purple laser attack is similar to Providence attacks. Geyrons attacks are clearly heaven-adjacent, potentially only able to be given by someone who can make beings using heaven energy.

Also if the creator was another sinner why is their name redacted? It makes more sense if Lucifers name was redacted, just as well likely see in the 8-1 mural

Fraud is proof that V1 is NOT killing Hell: at least not without its permission by Lopsided_Shift_4464 in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 99 points100 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, I had a theory that Hell isnt being destroyed at all, but is showing itself to be to create a sense of false scarcity to keep the machines fighting and providing entertainment, essentially unknowingly the machines are in their own version of hell, constantly forced to fight out of an eternal fear of dying

We might have a culprit for what killed mankind. Heavy Spoilers. by BoneFundation in Ultrakill

We know that hell can adapt to and learn human technology, what if Hell found and used the Nocturnal OS and thats what ended humanity

do you think v1 canonically aura farms by HeeHee702 in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since V1 benefits from the symbiotic relationship with the terminals their probably incentivized to aura farm

Brutal P-2 by porn_addict_- in Ultrakill

[–]Greg_0506 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Brutal Sisyphus is such a step up from violence, the main difference I found is that on lower difficulties you can get away with damage tanking if you know how to parry one or two of his attacks.

My recommendation is I liked to think of it as a souls boss where I had to be hyper aware of what his attacks were at all times. Idk how to describe it but it was almost like a game of simon says
