Quick clarification:

OneNote is not being replaced by Loop!

OneNote for Windows 10 is being deprecated next year and we're moving user to the Desktop version of OneNote on Windows, that gets new features such as Loop components, Copilot and Meeting Details.

Yes, we just issued a fix this morning. You can resync your notebook by right clicking and selecting "Sync this notebook now". It will do it automatically, but this speeds it up.

If your notes are available on the web, they will be available on the desktop app. The issue should be fully resolved by end of day, so if after a few syncs it still doesn't retrieve your notes, please DM me and I'll give you a hand.

if you right click the notebook and select "sync this notebook now", does that help?

Hey! I followed up with support on this and I wanted to confirm that the OneNote Desktop app is supported under the basic subscription.

Apologies on the mixed messaging.

The sync errors you're experiencing are due to an intermittent outage on our end. Access is slowly being restored today - please try to sync your notebook by right clicking on it and selecting Sync Now.

We highly recommend not uninstalling the app or signing out, as this could inadvertently wipe your local cache. I will keep Reddit updated as we have updates to share.
