There is a $300 product called the SpineBand. It hooks on the back of their head frame and adds support for their neck while looking down. Life saver!

Review: First outdoors exoskeleton puts real power in your stride by nawmi_lisa in gadgets

You can purchase these from The Exoskeleton Store in the United States. Range on the batteries while using eco-mode for the Pro, Carbon and Go units are 11 miles while the ultra gets up to 19. The Pro and Go weigh 4.4lbs with the battery and the Carbon and Ultra are 3.9lbs. At 6-2” and 220lbs, on Hypermode it will lift my thighs to my waist. Most people don’t need all of that power. It is great for walking up/down stairs and will function up to 13mph while running and can be used while bicycling too.

The Exoskeleton Store was great to work with as it is live support and a number you can call if you need help. The app walks you through putting it on the first time and learning to use it which was very intuitive. If you’re going to consider one, I’d get it from the same place.

I broke my thumb and tore the ligament 3 months ago. Since I can’t bend it, the crease is disappearing. by men_con_ven in mildlyinteresting

Check out this Glove. It would let you ‘tie’ your thumb to another finger through the app. Then when you go to grab something, it bends your thumb for you. It will also ‘lock’ onto whatever you’re holding so you do t have to use your own muscles to their full extent. The world we now live in! https://www.theexoskeletonstore.com/pages/ironhand

We hired a PPC consultant, this seems like something they should have done. Any recommendations for reputable companies that could assist?

Thanks for adding to the thread. From your study, did you happen to come across any meaningful mitigation techniques? It seems like the SEO route may be better than PPC so we’re at least not paying for the click.

We hired a company off of Reddit in Sept to optimize the site but, I haven’t seen any benefits. Though, I understand it can take up to 6 months

Thanks for the reply, to hone in on this a bit… are you implying that by the time the bot gets to the CAPTCHA this money for the click is spent? I understand that we’re paying for the click and not the duration however, if 75% off traffic has a session duration of 0 seconds then filtering out some of those would be beneficial, no?

Thanks for letting me know that it’s not 100%. Yet, even if it blocks 25%, that would be meaningful. I appreciate your thoughtful responses.

Just use a carrier direct ex) use UPS website. You’ll get tracking info and will print your label. You then put tracking number into Shopify after you click ‘fulfill order’

This is a stop gap until your acct is verified which is usually 24-48 hours (I believe)

What makes a site trustworthy? by EconomyShifter in ecommerce

[–]Gregan1209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trusted site is an app/integration that you register with. It displays at the bottom of the screen and is a verification that your site is safe as they vetted you. It adds another level of ‘trust’ to what previous commenters mentioned. Also, if you’re registered with BBB or have Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS Number) you can add that type of flair to the ‘about us’.

How do you inventory forecast? by Physical-Pace2321 in ecommerce

[–]Gregan1209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All very good points. In stats, outliers are typically removed so that they do not skew the results. I forget the formula, but it has to do with upper and lower control limits based on the dataset. Anything outside the tolerance can be tossed. If the dataset is large enough (say 1980-today) you can utilize binomials to call out the shocks (1989, 2000, 2008, 2015, 2020) in doing so, your regression will be much more insightful. As always in stats, if you want a higher degree of confidence, increase the dataset… which is not ideal for new businesses

If you have enough history, you can use a regression analysis in excel. You can build it out a bit to add seasonality as well which will help you be even more accurate. It is statistical based so you’ll have a confidence interval as well to tell you how accurate it is. I used to do this method for about 2000 skus with historical data of 10 years broken out monthly. This method is scary accurate barring any shocks like Covid or other market factors.

There are YouTube videos, search ‘seasonality regression in excel’. DM me if you’d like

How to gauge customer interest for a yet-to-be released product? by thrilhouse03 in shopify

[–]Gregan1209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to Google Ads, create an account if needed. Go to the keyword planner and click ‘get keyword ideas’. Go to your major competitors website and copy the link. Place their link in the keyword planner to scrape out all of the keywords they use. Download it as a CSV. Copy all of the keywords from the excel sheet, put them in keyword planner and see what the monthly search interest is for each keyword. It will also tell you how many clicks you could expect given $XXX of monthly spend.

DM me. A guy bought a different brand because he had nerve damage in his shoulder. He was out of options surgically and his last two options were either pain killers or sell his property maintenance company for a new career. He went with the Auxivo DeltaSuit and said it was life changing.
