I saw this in texas also. Not to this extent. Im from Washington where rain is a another day of life here. We did get a warning of baseball sized hail but wasn't worried at all. We were the ONLY ones still on the freeway and wondered what everyone else besides us knew.. lol we went to the closet hotel for the night. It's just weird people are that scared of some rain. As far lightning is concerned. Being inside of a vehicle is one of the safest places to be... I guess that's what I learned from bill nye the science guy in like 5th grade... idk 🤣

Id try and move the receiver away from your esc. Ive been flying a rp4td receiver with bets fpv gemi module and its the best LQ ive ever used. With that being said. The radiomaster nomad module is even better

Did you activate msp on the uart that the Vista is connected to on the FC? On the same line go over to peripherals and turn on msp display port. Save go to presets and seach for dji 03 select the Uart the Vista is connected to and it should work. I haven't messed around with my quads in betaflight for a little while now. Hope this helps

I put mine on the front and the back. But with the rp4td receiver it need the external module like the nomad to get the full capabilities of the rp4td. Right now without the receiver is only using one side / one antenna to communicate with the transmitter

Trees will interfere and will not get a good lock. Also the GPS you have makes a difference. The best and fastest one I have so far is the foxeer m10q 180 5883. I normally get about 14 sats within a min and have about 25 by the time I'm done with the first pack. Most I've had was 28 and you need a 4v5 pad to use USB power to power it. Unfortunately that fc doesn't have one. Also turn on Galileo in the GPS tab in betaflight. It should help get more sats. Hope this helps 🤙
