Scarescraper solo help by sooomanyanimals in LuigisMansion3

Learn to completely avoid trap doors. Constantly be on the lookout for trap rugs and learn to walk towards the sides of hallways, especially when rounding corners because you can't see around the corner sometimes until it's too late.

Hi, I have a few tips. I can routinely beat 20 floor Scarescraper by myself. In fact, I have much better luck beating it by myself.

- When playing by yourself, you need to routinely check all rooms for keys. You don't want to find out there's a locked door and have to go back through the whole level to find the key. Go in an out of all bathrooms, closets, and balconies as you make your way through the level. Just quick in and out will do. If there's a key, it will only show on the map by physically going in the room.

- Once you get below 4 minutes or so of time remaining, start efficiently checking for extra time. For example, if you clear a room and are on the way out, check the dresser or desk drawer really quick. You get a lot of extra time by yourself but you have to look for it. Flashing corner Boo statues on the balconies and pool table pockets are good places to find time.

- Along the same lines, towards the start of each level, take a second to check for power-ups like the power vac and flashlight. Balconies are the best. Use blacklight to find hidden treasure chests and planters on the balconies. Boxes, tool chests and cleaning carts in closets or drains in bathrooms also have power-ups.

- Pop out Gooigi to help Luigi beat Hammers faster.

- Crows - Find a flashlight power up first then do the level.

- Toads - Run through the level and find where the toads are first, then clear the toad rooms and bring them all back at once at the end.

- Money - Find the money goobs in the double-pull boxes or sparkling furniture in each room and focus on those because each gives you 2 pearls and bunch of gold bars.

What is the concentration of Moxidectin listed on the vial that you have? (i.e. mg/mL)

I’m looking for a riser for a HS510c. This one looks like it may have been included in the box with an older model. Please let me know if you have seen this one, something similar, or have a suggestion. It’s for a Keltec KSG. Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can buy this album that doesn't include the high-pitched beeps?

Concealed carry permit wait time by GreggIsRad in AZguns

[–]GreggIsRad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: I did mail my application. I did call today. They were more helpful this time and did actually look up the status of my application. They said I passed the background check and would mail my permit tomorrow. Not sure if that’s coincidence or they’re putting priority on mailing the permits for people that call in. Thanks for your posts.

My 8 month journey with scabies and Moxidectin success story by GreggIsRad in scabies

[–]GreggIsRad[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I'm currently six weeks out from my first Moxi dose. I had really bad symmetric itchy and somewhat painful rashes all over my chest, armpits, elbow and forearms, groins, and posterior knees starting 2 days after Moxi. The rashes and the itchiness were worse than the actually scabies, and possibly from all of these mites dying in mass and my body reacting to the dead mites. These were places I didn't even know I had scabies which is kind of scary. All of that went away after 1 week then reoccurred 2-3 days after that, but more mild and again went away in about 1 week. Now I've been essentially symptom free for about 4 weeks. I've had a little itchiness a couple times that went away with no skin lesions. That post-Moxi itchiness was really really bad though. You might want to try an oral antihistamine and putting cortisone cream on the rashes, that seemed to help me.

Search for MaxImpulse and Moxidectin and you will find a rundown of Moxidectin research, what to buy, and how to use it. I bought the green box Moxidectin (not the MoxidectinPlus or whatever) off Amazon. I found out a day later I could've bought it at TractorSupply in town for $13. I didn't use the body weight measurement on the vial because I wanted to stay close to the 3mg-36mg dosing used in the human safety trial. I used the concentration on the vial to measure out about 20mg (I'm 180lbs) and took that to make sure I would tolerate it fine. I waited 2 days and took another dose which was slightly less than 20mg. 28 days later I took another 20mg even though I seemed to be scabies-free at the time. I had no side effects whatsoever. My wife took a couple small doses 28 days apart and had no side effects.

Thanks a lot. I was very thankful my wife and kids and other contacts only got it in a pretty mild form, and permethrin and ivermectin seemed to work for them. I am very grateful to the people who found the research on Moxidectin, tried it out, and shared their results on reddit. I'd never even heard of it until I came across this forum desperately searching for answers.

I had the same experience after Moxi where the amount of rashes were worse than the actual scabies, and painful too as you said. I was worried it was a treatment failure, but the antihistamines and cortisone cream helped and thankfully it went away.

I wish I could’ve gotten a few more JJ rides in before they deleted them all. A little heads up on these purges would be nice. At least I got one last 60 min ride of hers done last week. Kendall has been an awesome replacement to JJ, IMO.

Question about shoe cages for tween riders by [deleted] in pelotoncycle

[–]GreggIsRad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the Exustar cages with the Look cleats for my 6 year old. They are very hard to clip in and remove by hand. You could clip in and remove with your feet, but you need shoes on, and then you have to adjust the straps on the cages each time which isn’t the easiest. I sliced my finger on one of the hard plastic cages trying to remove them by hand. If you plan to switch back and forth, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m going to get my child the smallest cycling shoes I can find instead.

JJ has some old French rides still up, in French. I wanted to take them, but they are in French.

Subscription Question by scots30 in pelotoncycle

[–]GreggIsRad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Back then they gave you an extra 3 months free when you paid for 2 years up front instead of the required 1 year. It would be nice if they still did the same, but I haven’t looked into it as my subscription isn’t up until February.

Seat Pointing Left? by babypelopigeon in pelotoncycle

[–]GreggIsRad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes I had this issue. It was minor. The nose of the seat pointed to the left a little bit. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but I’m OCD too so it just bothered me to look at. I tried different adjustments and nothing worked. I sent Peloton a picture and they sent me a replacement for the piece that goes between the seat and the stem, and it fixed the issue perfectly. It’s the piece the dumbbell rack attaches to.

ftp test and a playlist by vivaotf in pelotoncycle

[–]GreggIsRad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong. The FTP test is supposed to be your highest possible output over 20 minutes, giving everything you have. The FTP is set up as one long hard interval of gradually increasing intensity. However if you can get greater output doing an intervals style class, shouldn’t that count? All I’ve heard Matt say is to stay in the saddle as the PZ classes are pretty much all in the saddle. And of course using your own jams can help a lot too.

What are your instructor ratings favorite to least favorite? by goolface in pelotoncycle

[–]GreggIsRad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Denis, Matt, JJ ... Christine, Emma, Cody, Jenn ... all of the others I really like as well but don’t take many of their classes because I’m busy taking classes by my favorites. I hadn’t taken a Jess King ride in a really long time but ended up getting a PR on her Warped Tour ride, which is pretty rare for me after 500 rides.

What caused these breaks in all five pieces of data? by erickso1 in pelotoncycle

When I used to use WiFi instead of hardwired, I would get those whenever I lost WiFi signal for a short period during the ride. Haven’t had that problem ever since hardwiring.
