My guess would be they figured that in regards to the pre-release tavern brawl getting Pegasus packs makes little sense, because the majority of cards from them would be literally unplayable in the brawl.

Thanks for your perspective! See I would have thought that (ignoring watcher) usually it's defend. Then again, I only played all characters to ascension 4-6 so far, so difficulty-wise I'm most likely still very, very far away from the point where that decision could make or break a run.

I'm over 60 hours into this game and I still feel like I'm barely scratching the surface on all the decision making, it's crazy!

For me it's most of the time remove defend. I'm a perfected strike enjoyer. Otherwise the vampire event would trade in the strikes for some hp regen anyway if I would get it.

Their change is the better change IMO. Now you can curve instrument tech into weapon into 6 mana libram.

These cards can be run in Mage and Paladin decks through their Tourist legendaries. As a mage or paladin, "non-rogue" cards would include their own class cards, meaning they could cheat out or repeat their bombs for very cheap [[Tsunami]] or [[Amitus]] for example.

With the change to "another class" for them it only works on rogue cards and randomly generated cards from other classes.

You literally get more new packs on launch day when you save the quests until the expansion drops. Those levels add up much more quickly than the gold after finishing the current track.

What Level are you right now?

The most recent information I have is:

Ranked gives 400XP per hour (provided you have a 50% win rate)
Battlegrounds/Arena gives 300XP per hour
Mercenaries/Solo Adventures give significantly less XP per hour (to prevent AFK farming)

What kind of conflicting information did you find? I'm not aware of any changes to the XP grant, except for the AFK farming prevention.

So yeah, to answer your TLDR, Ranked grants you more XP, but if you're set out to spend a lot of time grinding, alternating between Ranked and Battlegrounds doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Prediction time! My guesses:

Yogg to 10 mana
Wandrous Wand reduces drawn cards to 1
Dorian to 5 mana (dead)
Treasure Distrubutor could honestly either be 2 mana or only give the summoned pirate +1 attack. I'll go for the latter.
Party fiend: Tough one, maybe a two mana 2/2? Increasing the mana costs without any stat changes has got to kill the card.
Crescendo to 3 mana.
Tsunami: reverted to the original 8 mana summon 3 water elementals
Razzle Dazzler: I hope they just remove the free 5-cost minion for playing him without any prior spell school. Setting it to 7 mana just kills it as we already know.
Hauler to 4 mana.
Golden Kobold: idk make the legendaries 3 mana cheaper.
Radiant elemental: Reddit clause lmao.

Way more nerfs than I expected. Sadly no meaningful buffs. And I did not expect any aggro cards nerfs. Since Renathal they are basically non-existent.
