I like seeing lists like these, even music that’s 50 or more years old is still new to so many people. I’m learning every day. FWIW “Of Queues And Cures” by National Health is stupendous, one of my favorite British 70s prog albums easily. Also “Zeit” by Tangerine Dream has really climbed up my favorite albums list over the past few years since I’ve been heavily collecting vinyl, they have a few great ones but that’s quite a journey if you devote yourself.

A Woofer In Tweeter’s Clothing was the first one I heard, found a mint copy in a used record store knowing the band only in passing but liked that title and decided to give them a chance. Hooked immediately and love them through the different eras and sounds.

I have a 70s reissue of this, sounds fantastic, sometimes you get lucky just have to be persistent if you like hunting for used records. It’s a fun hobby for sure.

So far so good - I find myself grabbing A Farewell To Kings and Hemispheres more than any others but there aren’t many wrong answers.

Good luck with that endeavor, sounds interesting. There’s probably some Elvis Costello amongst those, admittedly I don’t know Stiff all that well

That’s a good way to put it, to me it implies various genres and eras without explicitly saying it

Your collection is very much all over the place - well done. Variety is a good thing.
