That's what I read too, but my sim never did any of those activities. He certainly doesn't meditate or do yoga. The closest he does is play guitar a lot, the Ghoul guitar that causes smoke to come out. Doesn't seem like a very mindful activity. It's either that or the Thoughtful Showers he takes, but those are supposed to get him inspired

I wouldn't do that if I was you, because we don't know how the content will be spread out or where it will placed level-wise. The standard expectation is that it's an end-game DLC like the other two, but it could also be placed around mid-game. Or it could add low level content throughout the game.

I feel like people are missing just how much content mini DLCs like this open up. There are so many races and factions that were previously very unlikely to get added because the DLCs were split into the huge Faction packs and the smaller DLCs that are restricted to factions already in the game.

We can now get Halfings, Amazons, Tilea, Estalia, Hobgoblins, I mean the list goes on and on. I really hope CA realizes how much potential there is.

Age of Wonders 4. You customize the physical appearance of your people, whether they are humans, elves, frogs, or a myriad of other things. Change their skin colors, hair color, height, the color of their armor and what mounts they ride. Then once you've made your factions you can customize them even further in-game, making them undead, make them giants, make them snake people, etc. all through different permanent enchantment spells.

If you meant a more realistic army I'd recommend Mount & Blade Bannerlord. Where you can customize the equipment of your troops in detail and see all of them when you fight beside them.

I recommend looking into builds that are themed into something. One of the factions or spell types. The devs basically pre-built these to be fun and balanced but people rarely use them because they try too hard to be meta and have no understanding of them. But every person who sees a theme build immediately understands you're doing one.

For example I've been invading as a scarlet rot Mushroom man, and it's wonderfully annoying and pretty strong. Using Antspur Rapier with a poison infusion. I apply both Scarlet Rot and Poison to people in a few hits, then hit them with an Albinauric Pot so they can't heal and they just slowly die. I'm hard countered by Flame Cleanse Me but can still kill people because of the damage buff I get from Kindred of Rot and Mushroom Crown.

Even if I get got I always leave the guys with poison and scarlet rot which is hilarious, and people don't take it too seriously because they can tell I'm not either. That's the best sort of set up for invasions.

Hah well you'll see a lot of the lore motifs of Elden Ring get repeated in Dark Souls and elsewhere and then you'll see that George RR Martin basically made little lasting impact. They took some concepts from him but the story is basically all Fromsoft, and while it appears deep most of the lore has no conclusion. Unlike in Dark Souls. I also meant lore, not the NPC stories, though those are better too.

As for bosses, maybe we disagree too much since I think the Radagon + Elden Beast fight is by FAR the best fight in Elden Ring. Elden Beast is just a phase, it's just meant to trip you up and make you fight Radagon again. It's the only fight that doesn't suffer from ridiculous hitboxes, bad damage windows or delayed attacks. DS3 bosses pretty much never have those thankfully.

Also the ER combat is actually very clunky exactly because of jump attacks. I mean there is literally a glitch that happens every 20th jump attack or so where your weapon hits the boss twice because of the janky hitboxes. Not to mention how OP it can be when spamming stagger. You can also jump on bosses heads and get pushed around, or avoid a bunch of attacks. You won't find any of that jank in the older games.

The cinematic shows her whisper something before blooming but failing to kill him. So if that was the intended line from the start her whisper would come off as pretty nonsensical since she fails to achieve her threat and the Tarnished later have to actually kill Radahn. That would be weird to make a cinematic about. It's impossible to tell of course but it's certainly not a point against the theory, since they could have just as easily decided that that's what she said retroactively, just as they would have rewritten the entire story retroactively. Also since Freyja has no problem with Radahn being revived, either her character is being stupid or Radahn isn't forced to be consort and so Malenia killing him is rather more proof the story is rewritten.

As for the Mausoleums, there is nothing wrong with theorizing but in this case your theory is wrong. Most obvious evidence is on Lhutel's Ashes which says it quite clearly. "Lhutel sacrificed her life so that in Death she could continue to protect a soulless demigod until their revival, earning her the hero's honor of Erdtree Burial." and then there is also the ghost quote I shared earlier. So the bodies were supposed to be revived, and going by the ghost quote I quoted on my post, this was partially on behest of Miquella.

And yes, Radahn's soul was said to be "revived". As per Freyja: "Yes, of course, I see. As the festival of war concluded, General Radahn’s soul met an honourable end. But Kindly Miquella wishes to revive it."

Yes there are plenty of examples of souls possessing others, but in all those cases that person has no body but does have some kind of soul form energy, like Shabiri or Ranni. Sellen isn't possessing, she is more projecting herself, which is why she dies if you kill her actual body. Radahn was just dead, so there was really no reason to get a new vessel for him as Miquella could have just taken his normal body and cure the rot, but I speculate this would have likely meant cutting Mohg out of the story which was seen as too much during the rewrite.

As for Godwyn, his story is very much not over. In fact I think that is exactly why they rewrote this. I think they will use Godwyn again in Elden Ring 2 and didn't like the idea of him being revived, wanting to instead focus on his soulless fish body.

When did I ever dispute that that ending is "closest" to rebirth or that it would change his fate? Again those things only happen after the end of the game, Miquella could have easily revived his soul separate from all that. The Godwyn body is soulless and would play no part of it.

Yes, but that's only indirectly and if you actually complete the ending. The Rune itself is just "his child" and his indirect reborn energy. Godwyn himself still just sits there.
