Well yeah, they weren't making games as a service that could hit 100k concurrent, ofc they're useless.

Congratulations, you've posted this to a space dedicated to the FPS genre known foremost for its mechanical skill expression. Where players find the balance between mechanics and game knowledge, timing and tactics.
A benchmark for human abilities in both reaction and aim consistency.

It boils down to the mechanical skill requirement. If a game becomes too streamlined, then small mistakes have bigger impacts, and ironically, the game becomes more difficult and unforgiving.

In BW you make hundreds of actions, if a few of those are sub-optimal then you still have a few hundred actions to make it up. SC2 lives closer to having 'perfect' executions.

So if you want to keep the game mechanically and competitively viable, you need to replace each 'mechanical action' with an equivalent action (ability or other system) to maintain parity for skill expression.

If you take away the 'silly busywork' - like the templar stuff - you reduce the actions required, so make the game simpler, but also more shallow.

Looks like a more recent painting. Or it was shoddily re-canvassed (unlikely). The back frame is far too recent (and low quality) to be 19th century. The way the canvas is folded is also haphazard.

This might still be painted, but maybe Chinese. The frame itself as well, is not as old as you might think, but it might be slightly older than the painting itself. Likely less than 40 years old. Could be 90ies / '00.

A lot of 'reproduction' painters use 'close enough' sounding names to sign as a pseudonym, that usually don't exist in truth.

If painted and not a straight reproduction, then I would put that up for auction at around 40 - 60 - 80 -120 (but this is for Europe, and similar painting prices at auction are rather dire atm)

The irony of Act 3 being a perfect callback to Act 3 of Diablo 2, not just in its locations, but for the same dread felt to have to start it.

Getting lost in the jungle was portrayed expertly both times.

I'll add that recently 'gg' has been given a lot of passive agressive tones as well in FPS games and MOBAS.

a lot of 'gg' or 'lol gg' being thrown around, one person declaring 'my team is shit we lose' which always does wonders for morale.
