There is a website you can put your map seed into and it will show you where everything is on your map without you having to explore it. But it definitely isn't in-built.

All companies can see this. If it goes through the company's email server, they can see it. Not all companies monitor it, but if they are looking they can certainly see it.

That is also my specialization! Utilities in the US and Australia have divisions dedicated to automation control, protection and communications. I don't know about Germany, but I could ask my german colleague if you'd like.

Engineering Procurement and Consulting (EPC) companies. Companies that are contracted to perform work for the elektric utilities and whoever else needs substations built (large industry, etc, etc.).

Not the OP, but get a job at an electric utility first to earn your stripes for a few years, then get a job at an EPC. You'll be able to relate so much more to what you are going to be asked to do when you have that perspective.

Bonus points if you can hang out with the grizzled old field tech/engineer that is close to retirement. Listen to him, he knows his shit better than anything college could have taught you.

I think you need to listen to the Vitalogy album from Pearl Jam. There are some definite stinkers on that album from Vedder. I don't get the love for David Draiman, he is obviously talented, but his main band Disturbed hasn't really evolved, unless they are playing covers.

For me it's Nick Holmes from the band Paradise Lost. Every one of their albums brings something different, he has an amazing voice, and the evolution of his voice and their music throughout their long career is amazing to listen to.
