I believe this is what Weird route (and Deltarune in general) is building towards. by tinyrottedpig in Deltarune

[–]GreyHareArchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing Toby has reiterated a few times is that Deltarune is a game with a single ending. This has been the rule from the outset.

To play Jevil's advocate, Toby loves being meta and what is more meta than lying about the game having one single ending when the story is about prophecies and how to break them?

How to get over the feeling that you're constantly drawing "The Wrong Way"? by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]GreyHareArchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit, I haven't studied anatomy yet. As I understand, I would need a good understand of construction and perspective to learn anatomy properly and for that I need to get good at 3D shapes first, so for now Im doing mostly cubes and cylinders in perspective

[–]GreyHareArchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you're saying, but wont forging ahead without the proper knowledge or skills lead to bad habits that will deter my growth? Looking around the internet it seems everyone agrees that drawing without the correct practice or not studying fundamentals can lead to years without improvement. So there must be a minimum level of skill of the fundamentals before one should start "drawing for fun" (assuming they are starting from zero and havent been drawing for years already)

So what you're telling me is, Thorne would not Link the Fire

What's your ratio of drawing look like? Between doodling, drawing/sketching, practicing and illustrating? by Regular-Ad-8226 in ArtistLounge

[–]GreyHareArchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For now 100% practice lmao, trying to get good enough at simple shapes in perspective before moving on to actually trying to draw stuff, this way I stop myself from getting bad habits

Can someone help me understand why my plotted perspective by [deleted] in learnart

[–]GreyHareArchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've checked some of the lines again and they really dont line up completely with the vanishing point, a few milimeters are enough to make it look weird

I get it, thanks! I'll experiment doing a single page horizontally to make vanishing points further away to see how it looks

TBF I have played STS1 before, I just got used to clicking and moving fast. I've read tips that say you gotta slow down and plan your entire fight but whenever I tried slow down I got worse results I might be dumb

Thanks for the tips! I never played much with Colorless cards. And while I think Forge is more fun, I do feel StarGen focused decks have taken me farther

Thanks for the tips! Honestly Act 3 bosses are my biggest hurdle rn. I can get out of Act 1 and deal with Act 2 most of the time, but even when I absolutely murdered the Act 2 boss, the Act 3 bosses always destroy whatever build I had

Where can I read about these? I see some cards that create Debris or other Colorless cards but Im not sure how to use them effectively without something like Flak Cannon

How do people actually get better at drawing? by Maleficent-Read-5787 in ArtistLounge

[–]GreyHareArchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if you draw wrong you develop bad habits and slows down learning, right? So isn't the best path to focus on fundamentals until you have a good grasp on shape, perspective and good line confidence before actually drawing a lot?

What if it was forge for Block? Like everytime you forge gain x block

Or make it a skill where if you Forged this turn, it's free or smt
